Im in the same boat... buddys ranger was making a noise on decel he pulled the cover saw the spiders were toast so we changed them (If anyone knows what a process that is to do on a 7.5 Trac Lok) Put it together same noise... Didnt think about it before hand but spiders shouldnt make noise when goin straight :banghead: rest of the bearings seem ok not sure where to look now...

If it's anything like an 8.8, that stupid S spring is a pain in the dick. I almost got killed by it twice.
I screwed up one of the sealheads on my coilovers installing it, and for my efforts I have a puddle of shock oil on the ground.

Best thing about those s springs is that theyre not needed if you dont care if your lsd locks up... the ranger is his moms winter vehicle so we tossed them after fighting with em. All they do is keep pressure on the spiders to lock it up tighter which was not of our concern
