THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

guess who just bought a purple nasa sticker!!!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

sounds like my 98, I registered it and 4 hours later the heater core started leaking, went for a sticker and failed inspection for my third brake light, when I went to get the parts to fix that, check engine light came on for a cyl#3 misfire, replaced the cap/wires/rotor/plugs and the light went out, went to fix the brake light and the CEL came back on, and now the hatch doesn't like to open unless I'm pushing on it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My MJ hasn't had a chance to have any problems.

I'm sure when I drop my hacked together wiring harness in it will start crying at me.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That's gonna be interesting. I will be EXTREMELY impressed if it starts and runs first time with that harness.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I won't be surprised if it starts first try. Just as long as every sensor is working. I can't see the problem lying in the harness.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It took me a good 20 minutes of annoyance trying to get my stroker running before I realized the kill switch was off. It's one of those red airplane-style safety switches, and the cover was open, but the toggle switch wasn't flipped.

All it does is interrupt the ASD relay feed, but that also kills the fuel pump and ECU, which makes troubleshooting a pain.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah Ross, go work on the stupid thing

I love/hate dumb problems like that.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Guess who just ordered tons of 14b parts!!

.!.:D.!.
Guess who's still running a 14B!
Man you're as bad as Anthony was with tools.

Go work on the stupid thing.

.!.:D.!.
Hey. Having a nice workshop makes the job a lot more enjoyable.

But I agree, go work on the stupid thing.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

how much would it cost me for you to ban someone i don't like?
It didn't even take $ to get that done on a different forum.

I just got a text from a college friend of mine in the chemical engineering business... he does really fancy expensive stainless steel piping these days. One of his competitors just went out of business and he is on the list to put offers on their welding and machining equipment, I'm getting the list of what's up for grabs tomorrow - free delivery (or at least free delivery to my place.) I'll post the list here if anyone wants in.

Man, there was a lot of posts in the time it took to go to Napa and the gas station then back.

Congratulations, you found the funny!
:gee:

I never once got pulled over for anything about my XJ.
Yes, but like I said, cops on the cape. And not just the cape, lets not forget I got pulled over 200 feet from Ross's driveway.

Ouch, just filled up, $54

Oh, and Colin, I just did a little preliminary, no measurement test on front or rear selectable lockers in my driveway. I definitely wasn't "pushed forward" while turning with my rear locked/ front open. I didn't measure, but I would definitely say I had a little tighter turning radius with the rear locked/ front open. Just didn't really want to turn when I had the front locked/rear open.

Therefore, I remain front selectable.

Buying parts is LIKE working on it :dunno:
Completely untrue. I buy parts all the time, and many of those parts have still not been installed, therefore no work was ever done.
