Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If he was smart he'd give them to me and watch me fit them just fine tomorrow afternoon

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Wtf, just woke up.

I have the week off for house and jeep work hells yeah!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Driveway done and cleared been up since 4:30 and wife just got to Worcester for work said the roads are mostly clear (expect my road of course)

We only got about 8" tops and nothing else coming down now. :(
Edit: Radar shows we are in a dead spot, we could get a little more but it won't amount to anything.

Going to the junkyard shortly, this is gonna be a party for sure.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Been up for a couple hours, shoveled the driveway, sent a few emails, snows coming down a bit harder now than it was before. Think I might wait a couple hours before driving into work. I heard 495 is shut down around the pike with tractor trailers all over the place. :dunno: Guess I will just take an easy morning and go into work around 9.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Been up since 3, outside since 4, and I just finished. I'm tired and just want to sit until the snow amounts again and I'll do it all over again.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm afraid of that, but I got them for a good enough price that I could sell/trade for 2" travel ones and I won't lose $...
I'll trade you something for a pair. :D
How come you guys get up so early to clear snow...?

We'll be cleaning it up shortly.
Always do. Cleared it up before we drove over it and it gets packed down. That just makes it harder to snowblow. Plus I've now been at work for over an hour.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Got to work 20 minutes ago. ZERO snowbanked cars on the road. (I had my strap and a shovel...just waiting) Some people that live in Plymouth got maybe 2" last nigth but it was like 40 degrees when they woke up.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah I guess it makes sense. No one leaves our house that early when it snows, plus no one is working today.

We also have a plow so its not as bad if people drive over it. Still sucks though.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

so whats it mean when your tires are spinning and you the entire sidewall of one tire hits a frozen wall of dirt and your power steering spits about half a quart of fluid on your valvecover and proceeds to stop working altogether. even when there is plenty of fluid in it? no leaks

I live near Plymouth. We got 3-4" of the heaviest snow possible. The snowblower couldn't move the stuff. :thumbdn:

I just got to work and I am one of maybe 10 cars in the lot, maybe another 10 on the other side of the building.

On back roads in Bridgewater there was a power line partially down; a line that crosses the road to a guys house. Was hanging low enough that it was almost touching the ground in his front yard... then a Snap-On truck coming the opposite direction as me apparently didn't see it and hit the line, sent it whipping all over the place but (thankfully I guess) it didn't break.

Then was driving up 495N right around exit 9. Car in front of me suddenly looked like it was shifting from center to left lane. I didn't think much other than "wtf, why would he go to that lane?"... then the guy continued straight off the road  Called it in just in case he didn't have a cell but I didn't have the Jeep since it's out of commission and couldn't offer him a pull :(

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Guess i get to spend the day catching up on paperwork and searching around for what alternator to get. I figure I will try to fix mine once more but plan on buying a new one rather than going JY again. My last 117A one from a dakota worked fine but I think the slide adjustment thing was stuck and caused problems; it would spin fine when out of the Jeep but once bolted down tight it would stick. Eventually got it working though until this week when it seized up again. Gonna sand that adjustment slider thing down and see if I can't get it working right, otherwise this time I will spend the $$ and get either a NIB 117A from a Dakota or a NIB 136A from a '98 grand.

Anyone got any pointers?
