Keith, if I am regearing both axles... yeah I would do that. If I can find a real cheap set of 4.10s (Ryan, you buying that locker and set of used 4.10s? I'll buy the gears off you if they're for an HP44!) I will toss them in and run them. Looks like the 8.8 goes up to 6.14, sadly the nearest to 5.39 for it is 5.71 which is 6% off and I'm fairly certain that is not a real good idea. Guess I could run 35s on the front and 37s on the rear to even it out :gee:

Shit, I forgot all about that thanks for reminding me i gotta call him, might not have the cash until after christmas though so hopefully it will hang around until then. Did it come with the gears too? i thought it was just the locker and the carrier

I have this new girl in my life now. she is pretty awesome, and i'm probably gonna keep it where it is. I got tied down with the last one and it XXXXed with my social life and put a hold on awesome things i want to do. and bishes cost money.

I'm a retard, it's just the carrier and locker.

Think I've decided though... 5.89s in the 44, 5.71s in the 8.8, unless I get a set of cheap 44 4.10s on CL or something.

I thought i had a lead on a set of 4.56's and carrier for $75 for a 44 but it was for an LP chevy 44. im looking for a set of used 4.56's for an hp44 if anybody sees any and could let me know it will cut the cost of my build down by like $500

you could run a 4.10 ring gear with a 4.56 pinion and the ratio would come out to somewhere around 4.56 i bet.

God damnit. A couple weeks ago my boss asked if I was taking any vacation time around the holidays. I said no, figured that I didn't need to take any off since I was already getting a couple short weeks due to the holidays themselves.

He took today/tomorrow/monday off. Now I am really wishing I took at least tomorrow off. It's dead here and I should leave early but I have a 4:30PM meeting that I have to stay on site for and maybe another 5:30 meeting after that. :doh:

At least tomorrow should be a very VERY short day in the office; most people are told to leave by early afternoon.
