I can't wait for this week to be over.

couldn't agree more.

3.5 more workdays till I am off for a week. Start out by eating massive quantities of awesome christmas dinner, then hanging around with the family for a day or two, then a day or two of working on the house, then a half day to a day of fixing the M54A2 and driving it home, then more working on the house, then probably some jeep fixing and drinking... I can't wait.

Aside from the "day after christmas" run that I'm gonna end up missing, anyone doing any wheeling the week after christmas?

Yes, it would really suck. It's not a long-tube style, so why would it? It doesn't go any lower than the block...

Scotty got back from Costa Rica last night or this morning, so I figure I'll give him a few days to rest then I'll see if it's been TIG'd.

I'd definitely look for a 78-79 Ford axle then if you want to clock the D300 up high.

You don't have a throwout fork in your way like I did, so you won't have the driveshaft+ floor making love on uptravel.

I was leaning towards that. I know where I can get one, just gotta save for that after I get the airshocks. It's not going to be cheap, though. They seem to be worth their weight in gold.

The driveshaft is not making love to your floor. It's adulterizing it.

Why would you do a rock/14b hybrid with rockwell portals? Wouldn't it be cheaper to just get portals for a 14 bolt and 60 made?

Seems to me it is a great way to spend a lot of money.

Colin, I am pretty sure you can find a way to spend more than that on a dana 35 :roflmao:

:dunno: some people spend like $12k+ for prorock 60s and stuff.

Why would you do a rock/14b hybrid with rockwell portals? Wouldn't it be cheaper to just get portals for a 14 bolt and 60 made?

Cause these portals would be based on 2.5T outers compared to regular 1T outers.

So I stupidly bought a set of lugnuts without thinking that the H2 wheels have monsterous holes for the lugnuts and the ones I bought won't work.

I'll have to see if I can return them.

Looks like the stock lugnuts off my CTD work according to PBB. Gonna check that out when I go home since I have about 16 extra ones.
