THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Well, 2 PM Tuesday will be my first ever consultation with a lawyer about anything.

Consultation is free. Then the $$ starts flowing.

I should probably order all the axle rebuild parts for the Jeep now. Might be hard to justify any of that soon and I at least want to be able to move it around the yard instead of sitting on jackstands for a small eternity.

sorry to hear about your situation, that sucks. it sounds like you've got the right mentality and attitude, though, so just keep on keepin on and it'll all work out. Best of luck

He said lockouts.

They were awesome on the street too. I could feel the difference. Pinion angle becomes less of an issue.

mmm huge difference on the street.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah... if I were to ever want to go beyond one tons, I'd want portals. And even then, it's very debatable at best. 60s are good 'nuff for me I think :)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Alright Joe Dirt

NICE! I definitely didn't think that'd be noticed within 2 minutes of being posted :roflmao:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

my whole problem with rockwells and portals is the fact that your rig's COG jumps up so much because of the height increase you get from the axles. the axles themselves are pretty awesome, but a low COG is awesome too

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I don't ever want them so I'm sure you will.

I just dont want the center section.

Portals are cool too. Although if I ever did portals, I think I would go back to a 44 center section or a flipped 9 since alot of the stress is being taking off center gears. It also all depends on which portals you use, some require flipped center sections and front or rear engine setups to get the axles turning in the correct direction. The new portals that Jeep released on the ImMortal are nice since you can use regular axles and keep the rotation correct.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ummm... why?

Waste if you ask me.

you said so yourself you will be friends with people whatever axle they run. id rock the shit out of that axle

Jeff, just get a 20' shipping container full of them sent up. I bet you could sell everyone of them no problem.

easy

You can STFU since youre getting spoiled for X-mas. Anything you want for that ghey axle?

true story

Or flanges.
lockouts are awesome though "oh shit, broke a shaft, BAM unlock hub an drive home" not to mention you can run bent the XXXX front driveshafts and get no vibes

You'll need 10+ inches of lift to clear a truss he makes and it will weigh more than your whole XJ.

lol ol ol

portals are nice. but even if you can keep the cog down (im already bumpstopped to clear my oil pan) i can only imagine them handling funky with all that leverage and scrub radius. i want to be able to tokyo drift my jeep

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Get a picture.

Youve seen how bad my dad is with technology. He cant figure out how to take a picture nowadays, what makes you think he knew how to do it 40 years ago?
