A little bit, but pretty much only because no one was hurt. Plenty of idiocy involved.

Let's just say I finally got home at 6 AM Tuesday morning after visiting 4 police stations in handcuffs and the ZJ in impound. And all because my buddy had to take a shit at a gas station with no public bathroom.

LOL... oh to be young again... and in handcuffs. I miss those days.... NOT!!!!

I am glad to hear that Darwin DID NOT have a role to play in this....:gee:

How do you study for a boiler test? I wonder how the do testing in china where every kid knows 3 languages and does differential equations by the age of 7. Do they have finals and all that I wonder? I know they have school virtually year round.

No real way to study, just kinda practice and do it. I don't know wtf they do over there. All I knowi s they are WAY smarter than me before they can even walk.

Yes. It's allowed in every section of this forum other than the Den. It gives this site more hits on google, so it's a good thing when it comes to tech topics, news stories, etc. The Mods don't want negative attention (aka, from pr0n sites) being brought to this site.

not exactly... hotlinking to images doesn't give anyone more hits on google, and uses the other site's bandwidth. It's generally quite frowned upon in webdev/networking circles. It also opens you up to attacks, as the actual host of the image can change it to whatever they want, and your site shows the change. I generally get people to stop hotlinking to stuff on my server by replacing the image they hotlinked with tubgirl or goatse.

he was pretty damn close... basically, don't hotlink.

Sometimes I'll get lazy and hotlink something stupid and small like an emoticon that is less than 1kB, but real images I generally re-host on imageshack before using. Yeah, I know, imageshack is slow for some but it doesn't piss me off as much as trying to use photobucket... and imageshack has a cross-load feature where I can just give it the URL I got the image from and it gives me a URL for the same image stored on their servers.

I'm kinda regretting coming into work today (aren't we all) because I sorta feel like hell. Got that hellacious cold/flu/whatever, not sure who I picked it up from because a bunch of my friends and coworkers all had it...

So as long as nothing happens between now and then that would cost me an arm and a leg, I think I'm going to have my CTD completely paid off on 12/30.

I'm probably not going to need the steering until early January so I can hold off until then.

Nothing but cooperative, even after being dragged to 4 different police departments for 4 different tests. Without any admissable results (I think).

No matter what, it's gonna mean a lawyer, $$, and a long drawn out court process I'm sure.

We'll leave the rest for the M&G.
