depends on the market, i had a hard time sellin my mtr's for a good price, but i say you should get 5 bills

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I was thinking the same, hopefully on the low end of the spectrum. I'd include the MTR spare that's in awesome shape, so I think 5 37s on h2s for $500 would be a pretty darn great deal.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

my door opened while driving into work today by itself and it looked like it was going to rain so i needed to keep the door close but it hasent even started raining wtf

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So... should I get that waggy header panel for my MJ?

I'm thinking yes.
i would, it be diffrent, i honestly havent seen one like that, or you could do the 2500 swap(id kill you if you did that)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

for that price, gimme gimme gimme gimme (seriously)

good to know. But if I do anything it won't be for quite a while. I'd need to be buying 5 tires and 5 wheels, and I'd want to go bigger, so we're talking a big amount of $$$, which I certainly don't have. I also need a cage first. So, it was more just a theoretical question than anything else for the time being.

...although, I gotta wonder if he's realized it's all BS and he's just going along with it for some reason or another

I can't believe that everybody that's responded to the thread is playing along. There's usually some dink that ruins it for everyone.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I think I might be interested in doing the bike trade if you can get me set up with a title... if you can actually get a title in hand I would chip in some $$ to help cover whatever extra it costs (and/or cover the handlebars which I think the XT needs, though it's still ride-able w/o new one).

Plus I still feel like I should clean it up real good and get it 100% before I trade it :dunno: I hate selling something like that that I feel isn't ready to have a plate thrown on it and go

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

And I wish you had some 35" ATs or a long arm setup for sale rather than tires eventually. I want LAs and 35s for the street

alright fair enough. I can bring it to mia's sometime and get the vin run by la policia, though I'm not sure how long that bit takes. then it's just amatter of her throwing it on the road in NH. once she's got the registration in hand, that plus a bill of sale and youre good to go in MA(that's how I remember it from when I looked everything up this past spring. I'll double check all that when I get to work tomorrow). I'd rather not put it on the road myself, simply because it would be an unnecessary step which would do no good other than to make it cost more. I donteven have my permit yet lol but I can get stuff going whenever you want, just let me know...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

sweet!!! (if you like space & sciences and stuff) This is one of the few things I don't mind being taxed for; one of the few things I would actually consider voluntarily paying a bit more to fund

oh and:
IIRC you can request a NH title for the bike maybe? Then that can be signed over to MA? Idk for sure but (as I'm sure you've read) *all* you need in MA is a previous registration and bill of sale... but if you can get an actual NH title I would feel a lot better about it and would def throw down the extra $30 or whatever it costs to get that printed/shipped if there is any additional cost at all. As it stands my buddy can't afford the bike but he really wants something like that so I am going to absorb the cost, do the work myself to get it on the road, put it on the road in my name, and just have 2 bikes to ride (probably will end up leaving one of the two with him most of the time so he can ride it whenever and in exchange tell him he should just pay me the $100 or whatever registration/insurance costs as a 'rental fee'... not that you care).

So long story short as long as you want to do the trade I'm pretty sure it will happen. If you are down here in SE MA any time soon and want to stop by to look at the bike let me know (and you can let me know what you want fixed before the trade happens). Just if you are going to be around give me some heads up because my friend is borrowing the XT right now so I gotta get it back to my place

sure, I'll look into stuff and let ya know what the deal is with the paperwork BS. if you could have your bud snap a couple pictures that would be cool, but from the sounds of it, I'll be happy if you can toss some renthals or whatever on there (I don't know what it has, dirtbike style bars or not or whatever) and assuming I get the NH title squared away I'd likely be happy with a straight trade.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I was actually planning on throwing you cash so you could go to a shop and try some of the bars; i cant remember if you had dirtbikes before but the bars make a huge difference from rider to rider.. My buddy's bars slightly narrower than mine (same bike) and it had a completely different feel to it

I think right now I got some honda bars on it that I picked up on a clearance rack that I finessed enough to make them fit (wasn't much 'finessing', just adjusting control locations really). Not sure what you like so I guess if you wanted to stop by at a bike shop somewhere and lmk I could do the work and put them on :dunno: I def wouldn't want to make the decision for you though.

edit: how many miles are on the CX?
