yeah i've never actually noticed but i think 2by crossmembers are angled / accross the xj rails making it longer then the l 4x4 set up like so.... correct me if i'm wrong. I was however wondering if the coil mounts aligned? I'm guessing it's 'good enough' with a slightly bowed coil...

Scott, found a couple. It's not a show bike but I've been slowly redoing small stuff, there's really nothing major wrong with it as far as I know. Like I said, just needs to get the exhaust done and blinkers. The piece of pipe in the picture I just threw there to give an idea what it'd look like, I was just going to throw on some straight 1.5" pipes and buy a baffle for each to make it a reasonable-ish volume. But you can buy exhausts for them that are cheap, too. Just noticed the front fender isn't on in that pic for some reason... but it's on it now :gee:

i just measured it, my perches are 32.5 on the 44. but i don't want to put all this money into gearing a 60 and new steering. I'll hold onto it for the future
