THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My ram is air/hydro...so in addition to having the air option available for 'automatic' bending, it has a regular jack pump handle for the hydro side. So the control is as fine as you'd need it to be...plus you can sit right next to it with your angle gauge and keep an eye on it.

Totally over my head, I dont know why that never occured to me. For some stupid reason I was always thinking about it as just air-over control. Thats like my press, air/hydro with a pump handle.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Jeep is done.

Time to take a quick shower then go play trivia, drink beer (or maybe whiskey tonight), and eat cheap pizza & fries.

oh, and the engine temp gauge on the dash... where is the sensor that controls that? I know the intake manifold temp sensor is at the back of the engine (Drivers side) and the coolant temp sensor is on the thermostat housing.. but I can't find my haynes and I am trying to figure out what sensor I need to buy tomorrow since I got the wrong one tonight

Bending vertically is the shit. So much easier to make room up instead of out.
See, I'm not alone! :)

I made this whole thing piece by piece, removed it off the top of the jeep, fully welded & painted, put it back on the jeep, and everything still lined up.
Exactly how I did it.
I meant Id rather have the follower get scared then the tube and simply clean it up every once in a while. Im not concerned about hydro anyways, I wanna put my Hulk power to good use.
I'd rather have neither get marked it. Mine is perfect after the entire cage. Take you time and wipe the tube down first and the die set should last a very long time.
If Bill lets me borrow/play with his bender, then maybe Ill change my mind :D
Ummm.... NO.

Mine is the same method. Air/Hydro or manual pump.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm easily convinced :chef:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i needs a couple things
5 spd trans, pedals computer and linkages from a 94 or 95 xj

5 spd trans pedals computer and linkages from a 98 xj both needs need to be cheap though i would consider just buyin a couple of rot boxes

Get it running with what you have first, then worry about that stuff.

I've got the pedals from the 95 still, but I offered them to carmelo for his t-18 swap. If he doesn't want them/if they don't work for him you're next in line. Not like I'm gonna be looking to swap anything from auto to manual anytime in the future, I don't buy dumb vehicles to begin with ;)

...unless Mia gets a Jeep with an aw4 then goes away for a weekend :D :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i honestly think im gonna try and find a 94 or 95 5 spd for stupid cheap and just hope the trans is ok, the 98 is just a like atm, never wheeled a 5 spd but with a 4.3 case and 5.38's ill think ill do fine

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah definitely. With my Jeep if it's in low and 1st gear, I can lift the clutch and it just goes, doesn't even bog. Won't stall in 2nd either...
