That's what we'll be welding. There will be a big bevel all the way around on both sides and the small shaft is going to press into a hole on the big shaft. The name of the game will be filling the bevel with weld.

I think Anthony should build a budget beatermobile to thrash while chopping the other one... hell if done right he could get one for less than the kit would cost.
$200 - no-start CL jeep
$150 - random ass half bald 32s or 33s
$150 - assorted parts (or make the no-start CL jeep $350)
As far as I know, he already has coils and leafs to put in it...
It does still cut into the budget though. I suggested this last night.
Also I would like to say that I don't think he should buy the kit. Not buying it does save a bunch of cash, building shit is fun, and building the doubler is not going to take most of the time for this project, doing the chop and body work is.
