THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

do they hatch and doors do the same function?or is the hatch the final on/off?
Nope, they all perform the same function, as does the keyless remote fob: disarm the system.

I turned the key on the door,it shuts off, but when you start it again, it immediately goes off.havent tried the hatch yet.
Hmm, it doesn't run does it? My alarm disables my vehicle, and does not allow it to run once it has been activated. It seems like during the time the vehicle is starting, the sentry module is losing power, so it is resetting itself. That is why I asked how the battery was, because every time mine dies, I need to disable it before I can start it.

Ok, they are yours, I'll have no need for them.I'll let you know when...
Sweet dude.

seemed to turn over pretty good, but it seems like the heater fan is a little slow, and the power windows and wipers were kinda slow too.
Hmm, not too sure about that.

will do, kinda dig em, Ill let you know if I do,you got first dibs:thumbup:
Also sweet, appreciate it.

I just edited 81 pictures... My brain hurts.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

IDK wtf AMC engineers were thinking when they made that threaded boss in the block with 0 gussets (one lame one coming up from underneath)

And those are the 6 bolts I'm grabbing on the pass side. 3 stock ones, the extra to the left, and the two studs for the coil mount.

Yep. Did ya see in the pic I posted before how they changed the gussets for that boss on the NVH block?

Also, I have another good story to post tomorrow. I was reminded tonight of a rather funny period of about 2 months that occured a few years ago. Not some of my better moments, but that's OK. :D

Man, I stayed out of this LOPT for too long. This is fun.

It runs+drives with the lights flashing and dash flashing(horns disabled, otherwise that would be going off too.)
Where is the "brain" for it?:dunno:
Ill do some research after i get home from work...:badpc:

and ill def check the battery, thanks Mark!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Bitchin. You running x806s?

I just edited 81 pictures... My brain hurts.

I don't know how you can do that for so long. I'd shoot myself.

Yeah saw those. I don't know why they didn't think it was a good idea from the start but no big deal. I'm going to grab the coil studs as well like you suggested.

I love storytime.

It's addicting isn't it? :D

Yeah, it gets tiring. By the end I was starting to get lazy haha

Story time is quite entertaining.

Haha exactly - how do you think my post count is so high :wow:

Colin, I don't want to spam your build thread, but how are you going to get the engine out and around the MJ? Is there room to wheel it around the side with it on the stand?

Already moved it out to the front. Was just barely enough space but no big deal.

Colin, do you need my hoist again? You can borrow it, it'll give us more space in the shop.

Got Adam's to use still. My brother borrowed it to dump the 440 into his '68 Charger.

On that note, today is payday. Time to order some H2 rock rings.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That's good that you were able to get the engine out.

Ross, If you need to whore that hoist out for a while I could find it a home...

Monday was payday for me

But next week is payday for all the people/establishments I owe $$ to :thumbdn:

I think one of these days I need to measure and find out how much I need to shim the rear axle and buy said shims. As soon as I do that I gotta re-start the JY hunt for a V8 ZJ front driveshaft (and/or make a box tube one), then the SYE goes in and I install the shackle relocation brackets.

Not all, but a lot of XJ front shafts are made from 2" x .120 tube. I've had great results using pieces of 1.75" DOM to make the driveshafts on my rig...chop the ends off a stock XJ shaft and leave a few inches of the 2" tube on either side, then just sleeve it over the 1.75" tube. The fit is tight enough that they usually wind up pretty true & balanced.

its the NAC whore hoist :D

pretty much anyone is allowed to borrow it for pretty much any amount of time, the only thing is you have to pick it up from my house and must be willing to return it on mid/short notice if i need it for something quickly.

1.75"x.120" wall? or did you use a thicker wall?

I was going to do something similar to Carmelo and use 2" ID poop pipe and slip it over the ends.
