THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Awesome.

When ya comin back up north.

I dunno. Maybe next spring? Winter runs with no doors, windshield, or heat bring the suck.

Maybe I'll even throw the insurance back on it for a lil while...it was fun living out of it for 3 days while I was up there. I haven't talked to a bunch of those guys in a long time (some old school UJ people...Joe, Dean, Marty, Bobcat).

Ended up going to the right a little bit. That was my second run ever on the 1-tons and I had just driven it down from Leverett, MA right off the road onto gatekeeper. Wasn't quite used to it yet.

We spent 3 weekends this past summer cutting new trails at marty's old place in Leverett. Some pretty good stuff is hidden up there

If that Jeep Truck Gladiator thingy comes in a turbo deisel, then I have found my tow rig and DD for when I graduate and get a job that pays in more than sour milk and monopoly money.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

a bunch of people are hoping it comes with a "spark plug delete" option... I already have a diesel jeep truck though :D

Sweetness. I'm sure Billy can line stuff up. I haven't seen Marty in forever since he continuously has excuses not to come wheeling :(.

I WANNA GO WHEELIN :rattle:

I got a quote for 4 14" ST ORIs but then Bill quickly reminded me it would add like another year to my build. Leaf springs it is.

Today will be rediculously expensive for me. Have to buy two door lock cylinders, get both re pinned, get my bow re strung and set up for heavier and longer draw, drive a stupid distance, buy more tools, more jeep parts, and go set-up an orthodontist appt as I forgot to go to my last and have to pay a lame-ass fee for it.

Agreed, though I probably won't be able to afford one for ages. That and it will depend what it's built off of... if it's a small PU build off a wrangler frame then I might not get one as it wouldn't work for towing. If it's full size then fawk yeah!

Oh, and the BJs garage in a box worked awesome last night.

It was POURING out and I was still able to make templates and all that and stay completely dry. There were a few small streams coming in from the sides since the driveway slopes downhill a bit but I can't complain at all.

Worth every penny.

The thing I remember being hidden there back in the woods was some damn mud pit that was camoflauged with the rest of the trail. I got there before anyone else at 3AM, woke up early, and marty called and told me to 'go explore'. I drove into the woods and promptly sank the jeep in the first 10 minutes. Probably before 9 AM.

By the time everyone else rolled in two hours later I was almost a 6-pack deep back at camp, waiting for someone to help pull me out. :D

afaik that mudpit has since dried up. Pretty sure we drove across it a couple times at camp UJ.

I have a sensitive stomach.

I'd rather not have to run into the middle of the woods on Saturday, pop a squat, proceed to expunge my bowels, and use poison ivy to wipe up after myself.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

word on the street is clayton is coming out with an xj front 3 link kit.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

One of my uncles did that once... the poison ivy part.

He said it was the worst 3 weeks of his life.
