I don't consider those stiffeners. All they do is cover one plane.

Get some angle iron instead and copy Ross/Bill.

the front and rear ones? yea, that makes sense i guess. i've never seen real crazy failures in the back, but plenty in the front. my old jeep had the full length front bumper tie ins and jcr inner brace and decided to crack on the bottom right inbetween them :looney:

got a linkzor to piczorz of what they did? i mean, its pretty easy to figure out just wouldnt mind seeing what it lookz like.

btw i forgot how fast stock XJs go and stop. the dual diaphragm booster is just silly over the single (and my leaky WJ one lol)

Any reason you wouldn't consider a Waggy? It's everything I love about the Honcho without everything that sucks. V8, strong tranny, easy to lift and cheap ass hell. But narrower and shorter.

I would love an FSJ, but they are much harder to come by and use all different parts than what i'm used to. I'm in no rush for a new jeep but if one comes along at the right price i'd jump all over it.

i dont really consider either, the rears mostly. the front ones do work good for strengthen the bolts and such, but doesnt keep the rails from bending. click my build thread link below to see what colin's talking about for my rear stiffy work.

I went to a friends place in the north end tonight, and a girl from my high school, who I haven't seen since then got on the T at the same stop as me , sat next to me before she realized it was me, and was headed to the same part of the north end as me. Wicked random, but good catching up.

I could give you a hand if I still have the tools.

I just spent 3 hours at my grandmothers house waiting for the state police.
Someone broke into her house. they didn't take much from in the house, but they went through the garage, and broke into my toolbox that I was storing there while I am between jobs. Just from looking at it, they bent up every drawer, broke the paint and put a bunch of dents on the main part of the box. They got some of the drawers open.
So far, I know all my air tools are gone, all my pliers, a good portion of my wrenches, and thats just the drawers that were open. with my box, if it is locked, and there is a open drawer, it latches it when its closed, so there could possibly be more drawers that were cleaned out. I couldn't unlock it, because they tried to drill the lock out and failed to open it, only making it so I cant either.

The only consolation is that they took my grandmothers pill bottles from in the house. the only thing that was there was blood pressure medicine. I hope the fckers od on it and bleed out from a papercut

Ddue that sucks. Hope everything pans out for you. Tools suck to replace, but not as bad as knowing someone was in your stuff without you wanting and knowing they were there.
