THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Colin got the flowkooler because I told him to. :D

I have the flowkooler too, but I really can't tell you how much I gained because I was consistantly running above 230*, and I replaced the entire cooling system (and exhaust header) at once. All aluminum Radiator to replace the stock radiator that had been clogged for 3 years, hoses, water pump, thermostat, removing the inch+ layer of mud from the overflow bottle, and actually putting coolant in the overflow bottle brought it all down to good temps again. Now that I have a good heavy duty zj fan clutch, I don't get above 210* anymore sitting in traffic.

I do not miss that horrible burning-ish smell that used to emanate from my Jeep every time I used to drive it due to the complete lack of maintenance on the cooling system.

It always amazes me when people try to sell non XJ's on an XJ site, and when it doesn't sell, they always bump it and are like "come on, I'm open to offers, someone wants this."

That guy with all the Trans am stuff proudly listed all the stuff like it meant something to everyone here, and really seemed like he couldn't understand why no one wanted any of it.

Anybody know where I can get one of these MC bleeder syringes in a store tomorrow? My MC ports are for 3/16 and 1/4 line but with bigger fittings so it might leak if I just put bigger lines in?

Yeah, I don't think mine was overheating too bad but maybe it was :dunno: As I said, I have no clue what mine is running at right now though the only burning smell I ever got was after I added muffler mender wrap to patch up a small hole for inspection. I'm torn between whether or not I should replace the radiator while I am at it. I am thinking I might be pulling the radiator out already anyway since while doing all this work I might as well take the time to install the YJ alternator/AC brackets (I'm pretty sure it was YJ, moves the alternator ~6" higher and eliminates the mechanical fan) and install the taurus 2 speed electric fan

The autozone near me had to order one of those when I got it, I couldn't find one in stock anywhere. I'm not sure if I still have mine sitting around in one of the boxes/milk crates that I pulled out of the Jeep before wheeling this past wkend. If you can't find one I will look for mine tonight if you want...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm not sure... I bet a whole bunch of people took vacation for a day or two after the long weekend.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

And I decided if I blow up my 30 I'm buying colin's 44 stuff, selling the 4.88's and geting 5.13s for 35's.

Edit, and by blow up I mean more than shafts. It has to be bent tubes or broken gears or something of that nature.

Dear Colin,

I need to buy a wheel bearing, bleed the brakes, make my engine idle, blah blah blah you ready to go wheelin?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

The world is gonna end, Mark wheeled a couple weeks ago, and Bump, Scott, and I wheeled last weekend. The buggy is awesome!

I wish I got to stay and see it wheel (and do some more wheeling myself). :( He was pulling it off the trailer right as I got to the road. The thing is sweet

You have no idea how amped I am, and I don't even have a jeep to wheel.

I <3 Fall Crawl.

P.S. Do you have a tent or are you sleeping in mine again? I just need to go over the trailer and my truck one more time. I got the air compressor for the rear air bags working again so rock n roll come Friday.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I might bring my 10x20, how's the camping? Trees around or is it in a field?

I likely will be rockin' the hammock as usual but may end up bringing a tent.
