What do you mean run it again? Like on a second part of the gear? If so, yes that was the scond part. I ran 2 on that set- and all wer almost identical. I would prefer to see it deeper but I can't get a good pinion preload when I add any more shims.

I think I'm going to head back to the garage and see if I can toss another shim in there and still get my preload.

But $20 is 2 weeks of gas for my commie car. But really after 4 years of her saying "Oh yeah I like you too let's hang out" and then bailing then two weeks of not talking she shows up at my house to go out, I'm pretty much done. chick has a slamming body and is just all around hot but man is she retarded. I give it a month tops before something goes wrong on her car and she comes back to me.

And now that I think of it, she never put out the entire time...:twak:

Sounds just like this chick I know (minus the working on her car part), and I too have said XXXX it.

Another 0.001" more made a little difference in the contact but much harder to set the preload. I'm just going to call it good.

an old friend of my dads stopped by today. hes a car guy and has an old 60's nova. he just scored a 10 or 12 bolt and is looking to have it shortened. I told him id do for him and simply charge him the cost of an alignment bar and some carrier/bearing pucks

I got a text message from Keith a few minutes ago, it described what we feared had happen when Ross was tightening the pinion nut on my 44... :bawl: I'll let Keith fill in details but I'm sure some of you will know what I'm getting at.

Got a call from a shop today about a resume I posted online 3 years ago. If what they tell me is true, I may end up working 3 miles from my house for almost 50% more than I was making at my old job

This^ May have to get a new gear set after cross threading the nut on the pinion. Threads on the pinion are fawked. May have to bail on FC
