cavitation is some amazing shit... the navy has to worry about it a lot while designing submarine props because it will give your location away to a good sonar operator in a heartbeat.

I had to do a bunch of stuff with this on my last co-op. Did some control surface design, also got to go to Harvard and do some DPIV.

DPIV is digital particle image velocitmetry. It is pretty bad ass.

F**&D**DKCKCKKKKKKK! I broke the other NSS too. Stupid POS wouldn't got stuck on the shaft, it wouldn't go on anymore (probably went a total of 1/4" on before it stopped) then trying to take it off it broke the little threads again.

So, I gotta stay at work until 3am, PLUS last night on the way home from work the PS rear caliper went kaplooie on the car, so I didn't get to pull the driveshaft out of the jeep and take it to Jon's, cause I was using that to get to/from the parts store this morning replacing caliperz. Today is dumb! Oh well though, I'll just deprive myself of sleep tonight and get shiznat done tomorrow :thumbup:

Yeah sorry for LOL'in Ryan, but that exact same thing happened to Adam.

Gonna regear or step it up? I wouldn't trust a D30 on 35s again unless it had a full case locker.

Good new is that I realized where I went super-tard putting the front axle together and i was getting it good before this shit happened. I was torqueing down all the cap bolts and got to the last one when I heard CRACK and decided to back it off to see wtf happened and find this

The bolt twisted and cracked. didnt break off inside so I got wicked lucky. Going to Bonneville & Son tomorrow after class.
