Nah I don't want to spend that kinda money.

I just want to buy a lift pump so I don't have to worry about my injection pump failing. After that I'll probably leave it alone for a while.

Understood though, injection pumps are some big bucks to replace (at least on mine), do anything you can to preserve it.

I think they cost around 1500 for mine, not sure. Basically it's cheaper for me to buy a fully dressed used engine (500-1000) and stuff it in than it is for me to replace the IP.

I may not have been actively perusing buffalo chicken until thurs, but work just had a buff chicken cobb salad for lunch. mmmmm.

Edit: speaking of welder. Ross PM me info on what you got for drill press (if you ever checked) and/or what you want for drill press plus welder.

:laugh: I guess I don't consider that a mod...though it really is. That was just to get rid of the poor steering these things are known for. It's practically gone, just have a little slop that's a result of the steering box being worn out/out of adjustment.

In all honesty, the most I would ever do is add a smarty tuner which basically just makes it more fun to drive and doesn't add ungodly amounts of power. But I won't even do anything like that for a long while since I want my clutch to last.

Colin, your cummins has a saginaw box, right? It's super easy to adjust the angular play in the shaft...

I think he added the brace to go from single to double shear on the pitman arm, right? Seems like a good idea even if it is adjustable since it takes a lot of force off the steering box.
