i woke up and came here JUST to see this. i grat way to start my day.

After we got back to the house we were all talking about how long it will be untill Mark goes back to Johnny's or even wheels again.

3 options:


1. Mark wont wanna wheel for another 1.5+ years.
2. Marks gunna beat the bag outta it constantly now and go to Rocktober-Fest.
3. Mark will spend another 2+ years chopping it.

Its now raining, statistically this means I am working on my jeep. Hopefully it stops by the time I get back.

i actually have the day off today (gasp!), so i need to drain out my transmission and see how many metal shavings I can find in there, and how much of my third gear syncro is toast. third is NO MORE. whoops!

damnit, as soon as I made that last post it started raining down here. Guess we are working in the rain for a while.

i actually have the day off today (gasp!), so i need to drain out my transmission and see how many metal shavings I can find in there, and how much of my third gear syncro is toast. third is NO MORE. whoops!

I have been putting off doing that same thing, I don't want to see what is in my trans (though I'm wondering if the gears rusted a bit while i storage so I should really get new fluid in there anyway since I have been driving long enough to rub any rust off I would think). At the same time I am kinda trying to play the "if I don't acknowledge it there's nothing wrong" game until I get a new trans to swap in.

Well, I only have this picture right now. I'm back in boston, but I'm sitting outside waiting for my other friend to get baxk from NH so I can stash all my stuff in his place, I don't trust anyone in boston so I'm not leaving my jeep alone.

idk if you talked to him but i gave colin a bushel of rear 4 door glass a while back, some was tinted.

I dont know I think I like mine better and it handles high speeds awesome. You almost cant tell until your close.

By the way Nice Job on the damage Mark. Hey at least your wheelin again but way to make up for lost time. My Heep is running awesome now but thanks to rain wont get a tranny seal.

so apparently my jeep is happy just having a week off (after 800 miles in a day and a half), and third gear has decided to work again. when it clears up here, i'll change the fluid anyways just for shits, but whoo i can drive that chit again!

aaaaaaaah nevermind what i said about third gear... it's toast. i just drained my transmission fluid and this is what i found:

i'm starting to think that MT-90 isn't as good for the ax-15 as people are saying. that's all i've run in this one and the syncros had a long, painful death
