Ugh, I don't want to buy another warn locking hub. I should check and see why I had fluid spilling out of the front diff, but other than that I think I'll just leave the pass hub locked in/driver drive slug in.

I'm running the old style Ford hubs and they're a pain in the ass to put together. I have also blown 2 shafts instead of the hubs now, did you do any reading into making the hubs the weak link?

The hub itself, or the locking hub?

My hub wasn't fully engaged, which led it to be the weak link. That particular hub has been hard to turn the dial recently, and when I opened it up, you could see only a small portion of the teeth in the body were broken. I had no problem with the other side.

Ya, I have to make the window areas able to accept glass again before I really need the glass, so its not a big deal. I do have one superwinch hub, but I would prefer not to run that. If you don't have one, not a big deal, I'll look around and see where I can find some for cheap. The drive slug is fine for now.

On a similar note anyone need an Undercover tonneau cover, bed liner, and/or a Class V hitch for a '99-'07 Silverado?
