dont skimp out on your eyes. didnt you try my flaming helmet once? the clear lense piece is 110mm x 90mm with a viewing area thats a little bit smaller. it was somewhere around $150 maybe i wanna say. make sure you get a helmet thats easy to get replacement parts for (clear protective lenses, headgear pieces, headgear pad usually seem to be comsumables on helmets)

I never used yours, no... Is that one of the airgas ones? That's a pretty good viewing area.

is the 300 wider then a 231? also how is the frt diff ofset on your 44 compared to a stock 30, you may have driveshaft to floor issues

quadratec aperently sent me a email tues sayin they havenot recieved the shackles i was suposed to sent back, thats because ive been to lazy to drive to ups to drop em off, i guess ill do that tomorow, or i could go to staples as there a ups shipper

The place is awesome. Im thinking about going out in Feb. to check on the place and then head over to see the KOH race. The whole month of Feb. fills up with spring breakers. Its actually one of the locations they used to film that Piranha 3D movie. I might even tow the Jeep out there to register it, then I could drive it to KOH. Its only 3.5hrs from Johnson Valley. I would need a second person to go along if I towed it out there.

So the Jeep handled the highway surprisingly well on the ride home. 73mph at 3k RPMs, faster than I was expecting so cruising 65 shouldnt be an issue.

Off to pick up a pizza then start drilling out a couple more unibody tie-in bolt holes per side of the bumper. Went to HD and completely forgot to buy a fire extinguisher or 2 :doh: (and that's after I was thinking about it as I pulled into the parking lot). I had one of those "oh yeah need fire extinguisher" *pulls into lot and walks into store* "oh yeah I need a bunch of hardware" *completely forgets about extinguisher* type of moments

Tomorrow I tighten all random bolts down, change axle shafts up front, fold pinch welds, and finish up the other small stuff before heading to NH on sat.

thats maybe a titch faster than my 5.38 and 35's

BUT THE INTERNETS TOLD ME I WANT TO CRUISE AT 65 AT 1300 RPMS FOR A BILLIONDY MPG.


theres other internet people who told me the 4.0's hate to be driven above 3 grand and will explode if held there.

i was running 3 grand for 10k miles in a months time
