Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
I will be intensely amused if one of you guys buys that and wheels it, between that vehicle and mine we can recover damn near any jeep I think. Flopped with a blown engine half a mile from the road? no problem!
Badge of honor:

This is what the guy who bought it off of the government paid: (I think I got a good deal)

Can't see it very well, but that's a penny sitting on the front of the front valve cover:

I need to upgrade my front axle, it's not strong enough (for scale, nuts holding top of diff on are 1") :

Think a V8 ZJ tie rod will fit this? 7/8" wrench approx 10" long for scale:

Front driveshaft u-joint, same wrench:

Front rear diff, driveshaft, note ring shape of u-joint:

My hand next to driveshaft and u-joint:

e-brake assembly and u-joint at rear output of transfer case (government is smart for once and did not use a single slip yoke, I am glad because I don't want to try and find an SYE kit for this thing) :

My thumb next to slip joint for scale:

View from top of rear rear diff looking forward, shows rear rear driveshaft and rear suspension bogie links:

Rear 6-link, hell yeah (other links not pictured) :

Nameplate on rear rear diff (6.443 gears, was hoping for 6.72s, oh well) :

I don't bid on things unless I intend to win. Why bid once or twice?I would bid once or twice on that if it was closer. Never know when you will have to move a truck that's on the other side of a creek :roflmao:
