THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'll probably be real busy for the next 2 weeks on weeknights at least so we can handle the wheels as soon as we both have some free time. I'm in no rush at this point as the drivetrains not even in yet.

you should be able to, my old midarm setup got me on top of a brandy new 41/42" irok

I don't get this.

I ran aluminum shims in mine for a year and half. Gave them to Josh (masswrecker) along with my leaf springs and they were still in good shape?

I understand the chance of corrosion and all that and I wouldn't do it again, but still I never had a problem.

i've seen them shatter into a million pieces just like a steering box spacer.

the skyjacker leafs in black jeep had aluminum shims that were AT LEAST 5/6 years old and came out mint and fine.

the steering box spacer also came out mint .!.:D.!.

I need airbumps for my MJ...

airbumps tied into an engine cage with cool removeable junk that ties into the upper col buckets and thru them and other junk.

.....thats my plan at least :dunno:

why not just build a tube buggy?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i can't wait till my doubler is put together.

Ross, I'm not going to volunteer to make that for him but I'll tell him what my plans are.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have 0 desire to work or do homework.

If my gauges come in tomorrow, I'll be working on my CTD for the one free day I have this weekend. Sunday I have to meet up with my old boss so we can do our project together for class.

Lame...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

This weekend is shot for me too, I'm doing something (forget what, as usual) Saturday and driving to northern VT for a family event Sunday.

They're all enviro-weenies and vote blue party line, I'm so tempted to drive the M54 up. Actually that would probably please one of my uncles and my dad if I ran it on waste oil or even better fry oil.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

anthony are you familiar with computer processors, memory, and all that jazz.

Oh yeah, meant to ask you earlier but forgot to on the ride into work... Do you need a laptop or can you get a desktop?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

a bit, yeah. i took a peak at the laptop you posted earlier but i'm not sure what that game will need to run. ken would be a better person to ask than me. i've been out of the gaming world for a few years now.

x2. a desktop will get you more computing power for less money.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i asked ken, said the same haha. thanks for the help tho. i just dont want to buy it and find out it wont work for what i want to do with it.

thanks tho

haha i am on a jeep forum.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah I was looking at the new ORIs that have internal bumps...those would be sweet.

And after pricing out coilovers and air bumps theyre cheaper.

Something to think about for me for the future I guess. But right now I want to get the damn thing wheelin.

Dear Colin,

I just wanted you to know I think you should buy ORIs. I know very little about them but they look pretty cool. You would also be a pretty major dude if you had them on your jeep, i'm pretty sure.

haha I said pretty much the same thing... I don't know much about anything that has a price below 5 figures these days. I know zip about gaming/video performance, hate windows, and little about the relative quality of common laptop manufacturers at the moment. If you want to know how the system actually works on a very low level, I can explain that, but I haven't the first clue what laptop to buy from what company.

EDIT: also, I think when I go to register this beast I am going to take my CDL permit test... I'm fairly certain I won't need a CDL since it "only" weighs 19k lbs but it seems like something useful to have.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

so i asked last time and forgot

when should i show up at this carshow?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

4-5pm... or any time thereafter.

I am aiming for 4:30 or so and hoping I can make the turns to get in.
