the skyjacker leafs in black jeep had aluminum shims that were AT LEAST 5/6 years old and came out mint and fine.
the steering box spacer also came out mint .!.

airbumps tied into an engine cage with cool removeable junk that ties into the upper col buckets and thru them and other junk.

I'll probably be real busy for the next 2 weeks on weeknights at least so we can handle the wheels as soon as we both have some free time. I'm in no rush at this point as the drivetrains not even in yet.

I ran aluminum shims in mine for a year and half. Gave them to Josh (masswrecker) along with my leaf springs and they were still in good shape?
I understand the chance of corrosion and all that and I wouldn't do it again, but still I never had a problem.
i've seen them shatter into a million pieces just like a steering box spacer.
