THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Does anyone have a driver side tow hook that I could borrow? I'm *thinking* I could put my C-rock outer plate on, then a tow hook, then after I move my axle forward, I could do some wheeling again.

I have stock tow hook brackets somewhere around the garage I think. Problem is I only have the main brackets I think.

I have the main bracket plus MAYBE the 90* angle brackets shown in that pic. I don't have the hooks themselves or the two semi-triangle-ish shaped brackets at the far bottom of the pic. I'm sure you could weld/bend up brackets like that w/o much trouble and hooks aren't hard to find, so if you want them make an offer.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i got dooman oem replacements for my 87 should work fine, only issue i have now is that i no longer have a vice and i cant afford to muy one anytime soon

Just use a nut and a spacer to suck the stud through.

Works for me everytime.

Just don't use an impact wrench on it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Scott, that's the kit I'm looking for for the MJ. Sadly Crown doesn't seem to carry the brackets, only the hooks. Probably buying it from discountjeepparts or qtec soon.

That guy would be PISSED if he saw that post

I told Anthony I bet it will sit for 1 1/2 - 2 years before it gets installed.
:D

not so much pissed as just annoyed really.

I just wish I would have been given the courtesy of a reach around. or something.

Just seemed kinda rude... and Plus. I reallllly wanted that transfer case, now I have to track one down and do the yoke swap..

Likely the same reason you picked it up...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I think it's about time I got the hell out of the office.

32 hours since I got here...

Time to drive everywhere again.

If he (mr briarwood) doesn't want it you can have it for pretty damn cheap. As I said, make an offer. I was planning on running them but then I scored the bumper from Bump so I have no need anymore and they are just sitting around.

Those would actually work out pretty well, because I do have hooks.
I just want front recovery points because I don't know when I'm going to have time to get my front bumper done.

I'll send you a PM later when I'm back from work to discuss further.

Sorry dude, I had no knowledge of any of that until today. Jon put it back up for sale and I happened to be looking at his thread the exact second he posted it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Thanks.

I found four.
2 in Ga
1 in tx
and 1 in CA...
all of them want a butt load for shipping, and none of them have the correct yokes.. I will wait till I can fine one closer, cheaper or with the right yokes on it...

I am considering a terra low kit instead.. that one was just what i was looking for though...

I PM'd him three weeks ago and told him if he ever wanted to sell, Call me... but sit happens.

Its all good  dude.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Sometimes people just dont want to deal with shipping or even dealing with people too far away because its easy to get stiffed. As for shipping, those 2 in GA shouldn't be that bad becuz I had a tcase shipped from TN to MA and I think it was only around $70.

Alright, sounds good. Idk how soon Ken is looking to buy some but maybe I can sell them off to you cheap and then you can sell them to him once you're done with them :laugh3:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I found that # the other day in about 2.1 seconds thanks to a google search  I wish ya had asked when you texted me

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i remember finding it before, but couldnt remember the spicer # for it. A 1310/1330 up front and a 1310/1350 out back will let me continue to use my existing d-shafts :D
