THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Gotta love counter tards... avoid that guy and find a different person at the same store next time I guess.
First time I saw the guy there, only 3rd time I've been to that store. It is the only store close to my work, and I know that I would need to have the calipers for my vehicle ordered.

I walked in and told him I need Calipers for a 74 Jeep Wagoneer, and he replied "'74, '74 not '84, not '94? There are Wagoneers all the way back then?"

That is all kinds of illegal, but they're pretty neat. You can end up with some really, really hefty fines for being caught with one of those.
They have a provision for the instant on stuff too.

But there guarantee is if you get a ticket, they pay it for you.

you guys need radar to get pulled over?
Nope, you know very well that all I need is to be named Mark and driving in Foxboro.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

hahaha I saw that in the swapmeet thread and immediately thought "I bet I know who's gonna go for that."

How much would you want for it? Is it 220 only or 110/220?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

His MIG is 220.

ROSS GIVE ME THAT TIG WELDER AS PAYMENT FOR LETTING YOU USE MINE.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Aiming to have a collection of welders to not use while not fixing your jeeps?

:firedevil sorry I had to

Fix stuff? Use tools?

No no, you have it all wrong, I enjoy collecting parts, accessories and tools.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That makes two of us.

I currently have no place to work on my jeeps... apartment parking lot is off limits. Gotta talk to the guy Jay says might rent me a place, and if that's too pricey, hopefully the place right near Scully's apartment is available at a decent price.

I think it's about time I got the hell out of my cube and invaded a parking structure somewhere for a while though. Bets on what's wrong with the lights on my 98?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

who would be interested in my MIG welder if i were to say buy a big TIG instead?

I would be mildly interested, PM me your thoughts. I'm broke til after nacfest though. So realistically I'm really not sure. Butttt I dunno. PM me :)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

The whole pulled over thing reminds me of a guy I work with who a couple years ago pasted a school bus with its lights flashing. When asked what he was thinking he said he thought it was ok because he turned his beacons on, he was in a company bucket truck. This same guy at a safety meeting with the state police actually told a trooper he was pissed at people who threw there cigarettes out the window, not because of littering, but because he had a decent sized leak in his gas tank. Somehow he still has a job.

that is actually very fun, sometimes building things is more enjoyable then actually using them.

Yeah.

Collecting parts for a build is fun till I start tripping over them, at which point it becomes painful. Building stuff is really fun. I usually lose interest right around the time I finish building something and prove that it works.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I usually lose interest right after I put my work close on and begin to walk outside.
