Doing the seals didn't seem all that hard when I was working on the 9". Not sure how different they are on the D35. I know I said I might need a front seal and Anthony mentioned that they are easy. Idk how the bearings are on the D35 but the 9" I just had to bring the shafts to the local shop and he pressed on the bearings for me, I forget how much it was.

For the 9" I got a full kit w/ bearings, seals, wheel studs, retaining plate, etc.. (pretty much all the stuff needed if I bought new/replacement axle shafts). and it was something like $100.

And I would have given ya my 8.25 but I tore it down and Bump took the shafts IIRC so I can't really put it back together for ya :laugh3:

If you're seriously thinking about selling it, LMK some details. I have that cash in my room right now. I was going to offer it to someone for a hold on a Jetta but it sucked.

Thats not too bad. With colin giving me a D35 and I totally forgot about the D30 on my porch that I got from Bump,The workload just got lighter.

If I do sell it Id throw the D30 in along with other parts for it.(the coils I got from you,lift shackles for the rear,skids,lca's,rear shocks and misc other stuff) for a package price, or just the mj for $500.
what do you think of that?

If I bought the MJ it would go down not up. so I wouldn't need any of the lift stuff. How many miles on it again?

If you sold the LWB instead of the SWB back when I bought your first one I would have kept it. :thumbup: I would even dealt with an automatic for a while. That's how bad I wanted that thing :laugh3: It's nice.

Edit: I can't say I didn't want the SWB though. It was just lifted a bit more than I expected (for some reason...even though I had seen the pics and knew how it was sitting). Then my buddy bugged me enough on the ride home that it went to him.

Im torn, really torn on selling it.
Ive never owned something this old with such little rust, but for the moment, Id like a turnkey vehicle that needs no work, but like i said, I may build it or sell it and buy a xj already lifted.

I liked that one too. It just sucks with no work space and no one close by with a garage.

Hmmm... I just found a diesel MJ. I knew the diesel XJs were pretty hard to find, never thought I would find one of these. Not going to buy it, just thought it was interesting.

I have found a few that look OK, doubt I would drive down to PA for a Jeep though but that's just me. If you happen to come across that white one in Worcester that must have taken a hit to the front end for $450 stay away. If that one is there it's mine :laugh3:
