THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

After driving the Jeep all wkend I hopped in the Altima today and damn, I forgot how light the clutch pedal is.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Oh yeah - Scott, sure, if I pull one it's got your name on it. I just remembered why I didn't pull one of them on Saturday (the fabric on it is pretty gross, you'd have to fully recarpet it.) The other 96-down and the 97-up were pretty decent as far as I recall.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Alright, thanks. I have to refabric my soundbar as well. IIRC there is a slight tear in it and I pulled it after I pulled a brake booster so it's kinda a little bit dirty now

I am really hating this 'being at work' thing right now.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

do not want to be at work.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

X3. I got talked into not quitting :dunno:

Ah well, I'll be out by 1700 and working on moving my stuff out of my apartment.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ken, i would try to stay but work a max of 45 hrs/week. lay down the law on that. and asking for a raise for all your previous efforts or a bonus might not hurt.

Definitely, though my personal limit is likely going to be 50 hours. I'll be moving off the work that's really been bugging me recently and working with the guy I respect most on the team doing system failure debug instead, and taking two weeks of vacation in the next month or two if I manage to buy this house, so that should help.

Not asking for a raise, got one (though a smallish one) recently and it's unlikely to happen.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

you should say your limit is 45 and then when 50 happens not be too dissappointed...

good luck.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Hmmmm, so I was just kicking around and looked up the truetrac... apparently it doesn't require any friction modifier. Neither does the detroit. Sweetness. that makes life easy

Edit: Does the rear window install in the same way the rear side windows do?

96- rear hatch glass and all years quarter glass are all the easy type seal thingy that jsut requires magic rope. 97+ rear hatch glass and all years windshields require the seal thingy to be glued in or whatever they call it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Oops. Last time I payed attention to a post that said Briarwood/blairwitch I thought you said the seats hurt your back. Sorry, my B(non-sarcastic tone intended).

I fixted it.

I detailed the Blairwitch this weekend, soo much cleaner inside now. All the little marks on the panels are now gone, and it smells nice too.

I took of the old fog lights, and put on the KC lights I got off Jeff a year or two ago (by the way Jeff, I found out from the paperwork inside that those lights were from '96. I'm tempted to mail the survey in that expired in '97, just to see what they say). I made a wire harness for the fogs, just like my headlights. Holy crap all the lights on the front of my Jeep are bright.

.

Speaking of shifter knobs, anyone want a ricey aluminum shifter knob with blue LEDs in it that flash in different patterns depending on how many times you push the button in the middle of the knob?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I gotta figure out how to get the stock shifter knob off the shifter that I snagged at the all you can carry. I'm pretty sure it doesn't just screw on. There's gotta be something else holding it on there. I am starting to get sick of having no shifter knob. I'm assuming I just gotta pull off the shift pattern cap and there will be something in there, just haven't got around to doing it yet. Maybe when I get home tonight.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It screws on - there is a jam nut at the bottom of the knob.
