THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Alright, cool. Lately I have really been wanting to get back into a truck/SUV and I am thinking I may be shopping in the 10k-15k range (tops), at which point I should be able to keep my monthly bills the same as they are now or even reduce them depending what I can get for a trade in value on my car (or how much I can sell the car for private party if I don't like the trade in offer).

And regarding running cold: do you run one of those winter padded grill cover/insert things?

Nope, no insert. Gets warm enough for me but just takes a while.

Also, most 3rd gens (03+) CTDs are shooting over $20k for a decent one.

Ah, ok, sounds good (about in insert)

And yeah, I noticed that price jump. I found a couple around here for OK prices but still a bit more than I wanted to spend. I just found a couple 03-05 ones for 13.5-18k down in TX. Very tempting to fly down to hang with my buddy who lives down there and test drive a couple trucks and drive one back, though I know I probably won't end up doing that unless I am shopping for an old car/truck and can get a rust free one down there or something.

mission accomplished

idk how i didnt see that yet today. How have I not gone to google yet? Well my firefox start page is hte firefox/google hybrid page which doesn't show hte google themes so that might be part of the way. It is a poorly coded/optimized pacman though. Once it starts speeding up a bunch it gets real choppy. Oh well, it's still Pacman

Kyle/Scott/Ken/whoever else cares.....

i guess my estimate was on the low side for a full bottle, it costs like $160 to get your own, filled.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ahhh nothing better than an ice cold beer on a hot day

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

indeed :D next bottle will be this
That stuff is pretty rough if you are drinking it straight; though it's not too bad when mixed [with beer]. I guess in one of the commercials or somewhere it showed them mixing it with beer so my brother gave it a try and said it was pretty good and after that I clearly had to try making my beer stronger too.... I mixed it with some Miller high life and it wasn't too bad, gave it a kindof almost 'corona with lime' taste (FWIW I had put in somewhere between a half shot and a shot per bottle of beer).

Thanks, good to know. I will keep it in mind when I check with the guy I have been dealing with for a bottle. What size was that price for again?

10 dollas a team drink til ya lose

cash monies for winners

This sounds amazing. I haven't played pong in a year or 2 now but used to kick some ass. I need to find a place that does pong tournaments around here on wkends. The only place I know does them on monday nights when I can't go (plus it's a monday night, that's no fun.)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

im using my jcr 1/4 guards for one of the hinge points, bumper as the lower point, and 7/8 heims.

i dont like the idea of having a ton of leverage on the bumper when using a heavy wheel/tire combo. especially when i like to go fast over jumps and whatnot.
That's a REALLY good idea. I'm stealing that idea from you, but I'm just going to make my own 1/4 guards.
