Idk if I would trust myself to widen the deck too much, though maybe I just need to look into it a bit or recruit your buddy to do it . I sent the guy a message. Will see what info he comes back with. Hopefully I can convince the parents that the trailer is a worthwhile investment at that price and I can keep it out in the far back yard almost in the woods.

What is needed to get a plate for a trailer?

Is it the same as a car (i.e. need a title or bill of sale plus previous registration) or is there some other process for registration?

What time are they doing the count? I planned on stopping by but I found out tomorrow is supposed to be the opening light to our cornhole league (I can't miss that ). If mcfaddens isnt until later in the evening maybe I can stop by after cornhole, or if cornhole gets rained out I can def stop by.

I've got a freind with a 4.8L and I've driven it a few times. It isn't bad around town, but it noticeable on the highway.
I've also got a friend with a 5.4L, both in an F150 and an F250. Now THOSE are dogs.

2270 lbs. You are low.

5.4 = craptastic.


2270 :shocked: ive always hated most car trailer weights. yes yours is a full deck and junk, but mines at least 1000# lighter then yours. its pretty much the lightest steel car trailer available, its on par wieght wise with most aluminums

oh and anyone who might be interested in mcfaddens on thursday night

IIRC when i got mine it was a simple title swap like a car. that or it was a bill of sale but regaurdless, its wicked easy at the RMV.
