Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

And i'll pay for fuel obviously, god knows it's cheaper to drive your truck even if it's towing mine.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

FAWK YEAAA I have another interview lined up!!! I was out mountain biking and came back to an email saying I've been selected for an on-site interview with Rockwell Collins, another defense electronics and crap company. The position is in Portland, Oregon too so I'll be getting another free trip! WHOOOOO!!!!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

EDIT: Morris 4x4 has em! http://www.jeep4x4center.com/jeep-transfer-case/quadra-trac.htm part 12 (assuming it's the CV one like XJs), $41 bucks or so though. At least they have a part number, I love having those, lemme see if I can find it cheaper

EDIT: http://www.jeepsandstuff.com/18678-04.html

It's a Dana Spicer part, but I can't find their part number, just the other ref numbers.

EDIT: best price yet $33 http://www.jeepyard.com/jeep-parts/product.php?productid=3238

I wish I saw this when I was at work, considering we sell 90% of that stuff to them and I can beat almost everywhere$$. You should get into the habit of saying "did you try Jeff?"

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

wtf, so I rode the motorcycle to work multiple times last year. I also rode it all the way to my grandparents (aka, parents took the car and I took the bike, which is at least twice as long of a ride as it is to work) last year.

I just asked my mother what the family plans are for tomorrow in case she needed me to run some errands for her on my way home tomorrow (since I was thinking of riding the bike to work tomorrow and swinging by hudson to pick up parts)... and then I got a whole "you're riding that far oh my god I hope you safe derka derka derka" type conversation. I don't ask for her to make sense really... I just ask for some consistency.. :banghead:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Cmelo - yeah that's a good choice to make, wasn't sure you could get one back easily or not.

Colin - works for me! Anything else you need? All the bar stock got tossed in the back of the mj after I quit welding for the night, I discovered I actually had twice as much 5/8" as I needed :roflmao:

Jeff - yeah, considered it, but alljeep.com beats even your prices occasionally so I was trying to find the dana spicer number as their site used those exclusively afaik. Their price on the flange adapter for my 8.8 was a full 1/3rd under National Drivetrain's price with NAXJA discount, and their price on spicer wj balljoints is about 1/3rd under no-name price on rockauto.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Damn phone won't edit posts properly... Addendum: the 2.slow has wheels again! They're wheelbarrow wheels though. A few more evenings and I'll be done with the frame, then it's on to the real fun part - wiring and plumbing.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Done, sorry about that taking so long

I can do one night after work next week. Is there a specific night that works for you better? Any night would probably work for me (though I don't get home until like 6 at the earliest).

Haha nice. Nah that's pretty much all I need.

I'll buy some decent strength carabiners on my own at some point for the chain tie downs for the ramps.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

me too.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

:thumbdn: that sucks. I was running a bit late this morning and decided that I didn't want to wear jeans for the ride in and change when I got to work, or deal with the fact that taking back roads with the motorcycle adds 15 min to my commute when I was already a bit late... so I took the car. I started regretting that about 15 minutes into the ride. I really need to get riding pants to wear over my work pants. Maybe I will go clearance shopping on the way home from work today.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Scott - what's the plan for the seatbelt? I may or may not be leaving work at 4 and finding the closest airgas, not sure

also - anyone need a cheap 92? http://worcester.craigslist.org/pts/1717525523.html

Crap you're leaving at 4...? Maybe I can swing by your place when I'm out of here to grab the stock, don't want to keep you waiting as I won't be out of here until 5:30 at the earliest.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

crap... yeah I gotta be in worcester by 5:30 :( my plan was to drive to airgas, then drive to marlborough by 5, then head home.
