THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

it is raining balls

and very windy.

I really hope I closed my windows...

And yeah, wish I'd researched better before going to the all you can carry. I could have carried another 50lbs easily and probably another 100 if I wanted to, I think I only ended up with about 150lbs of junk.

I'm not going to ask you to stand out in the rain and do this (not sure if you have anywhere to do it inside?).

Could you perhaps bend up that 5/8" stock? Or even if you just want to cut me off the piece and bring it thursday or something (I have a dentist appt tomorrow at 5 pm.) that would be great.

Again, if you have to work outside it's no big deal I can get it from ya later in the week.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Colin, do you know where to find all the information on fall crawl on the DWE site?

Are you on the NEA forum yet?

Get on there and post up here in the PLEASE POST HERE FIRST thread (obvious huh?) to get permission to access all the other sections. They have a thread going discussing everything on Fall Crawl.

Yeah, I could have carried AlOT more weight, the big issue is all the stuff I had was awkward. Once I was standing and holding it I had no problems at all until the hood started digging into my leg, after the fact I was thinking we really should have put all that stuff back on and went to ask if we could add the bumper on and I could walk out again :laugh3:. Next time I have to remember to bring a pool noodle or something to cut a slot in and use to pad the hood against my gut/leg. Then I will be able to carry plenty more.

You meeting Ken somewhere? I will probably be heading up his way some day this wk to get my seatbelt so if you need me to bring something back down from the Worcester area for ya I could probably save you (or him) the trip unless you are heading north for some other reason anyway.

Sure... damn I keep forgetting that :dunce: it's likely to stop raining by the time I get home, and/or start again shortly afterwards. I'll hopefully be screwing around in the driveway anyways. The cutting will be done outside but the bending will probably happen inside since I'm way too lazy to haul my bench vise outside.

We work about 10-15 minutes from each other. Thanks for the offer though.

Not a problem, I keep forgetting too .

I'm probably going to be using the trailer for junk hauling this weekend so it would be nice to get it back in action.

Speaking of which, anyone want a set of axles out of a '90 ramcharger for free? vacuum disco pass drop LP44 front, and a 9.25 rear.

I looked at that thread and decided it was too much work when I first signed up. But I just made my post so I should be all set soon.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

What gears in that rear and what's the width? How many lugs?

No matter what the specs are I won't be interested till at least the 15th of next month, at which point I might be interested.

Also, Scott - what day are you thinking? Any of em work for me except for possibly tomorrow.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I was thinking of swinging by the tool shed either thurs evening or sat afternoon. Ideally leaning towards thurs since I am already in Franklin which cuts my drive to Worcester down quite a bit.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Keith - awesome. BTW, not sure if you saw this before, but I managed to find a non broken center console latch for you at the thing in PA - now I just have to figure out how to get it to you.

Colin - hmm, if they are 4.10 or higher I might be interested but that's not really a schedule I can meet, oh well

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Oh and Ken I got that stuff from Travis today. Thanks to both of you.

no problem. me and carmelo enjoyed our little cruise :) thanks for those tires/wheels!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

time to get the hell out of work...

I honestly can't decide whether I should install the new lights on the XJ (and the old ones on the MJ) or do some welding on the 2.slow. So many fun projects, so little time...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

time for nap, rough day at work rest of the week will be the same, next week will be even worse i dont even want to think about jeeps or talk about em

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Bearings came in :party1: time to hijack the garage for the next few days :D Next time the Jeep moves under it's own power (well after I drive it into the garage) it will have rear [disk] brakes
