UPS says my riding boots (correct size) get delivered today
too bad the weather blows and i won't get to use them till wednesday.
for anyone familiar with exit 8 to palmer off of westbound on the pike, i took it at about 80-85 on my bike on friday afternoon. they repaved the whole exit less than a month ago and it's peeeerrfect.

My bike is now ready to go after cleaning the filth out of my carbs over the wkend and we get poor weather through wed/thurs (at least it was supposed to be bad so I didn't want to risk a 45 min highway ride to work without rain gear on the bike). Can't wait till wed/thurs, esp fri. I'm not familiar with that exit but I will have to take a ride out that way. I'm sure I won't be able to take it anywhere near as fast as you with my bike, but still sounds nice
And I get my wheel bearings in tomorrow. Pulling the axle shafts and getting the rear disks installed tomorrow night. Dropping the shafts off at the auto shop on wed morning/afternoon depending on if they are open when i drive by in the AM. Picking the shafts up on wed afternoon or thurs afternoon (depending on when I drop them off). Picking up pitman arm TRE tomorrow or wed. Hopefully getting inspected late this week or early next week. So chock my Jeep up on the 'soon to be moving (and stopping/turning) again' list :thumbup: Then it's just a matter of breaking in gears over the next couple weeks.

Do any of you guys know of any truck/van rental places that rent flat bed trucks? I might be buying a better bed for my J20 but it's down in PA and I don't think it would fit on anything but a flat bed or a trailer.
