Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

if you weld the yokes perfectly parallel itll be good enough to not really need any balancing.

i cut the weights off mine and had the machinist set up the yokes for me so i knew theyd be parallel. i had not balancing and minimal vibes

I'm just going to use my angle finder to make sure the yokes are in the same spot. I'm going to C clamp the whole thing to a long piece of square tube or a long level or something while I do it too make sure they're in the same plane as well. Then I'll tack them on and put them in the truck and check to see how true they are with my sweet new dial indicator and gently hammer it into the best alignment. Then I guess try to first add a weight to the opposite of the untrue side to compensate?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ken you still goin to pa os sat? i need a downpipe from a 96-98 xj with out the stupid extra cat and some good lift gate struts for a 98+ xj
all you can carry in billerica is saturday, going to PA (probably) weekend after next :D

It's got nothing to do with the caliber compared to what it has to do with comfort. If the gun feels comfortable in your hand and balances nice for you, you'll shoot it better than something that you can't handle comfortably.
Interesting... I figured it had something to do with keeping it aimed as well, but I guess that makes sense. I'm also damn accurate with my .177 air pistol with basically zero recoil, and the grip on it fits my hand pretty nicely... the great thing about that one is that I can set up a target using only an old body panel and some paper, instead of worrying about a proper backstop.

Billy, check back a few pages, Jackass! .!.:D.!. chatting starts toward the bottom of this page: http://naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=977951&page=2591

I'm having a hard time decideing between the Glock G27 or the XD .40. Specs are just about identical for the sub compacts. I guess price will decide it for me.

Are you wanting the sub compact for CC or just because you think it would fit your hand better?

FU if you think i'm gonna read back through all this crap

FU unless your jeep is ready to wheel right now. .!..!.

honestly though, I linked that page so you can look at the comments/posts about FC this year. There's a couple pages talking about what trails to run etc, and it's not "crap" for those few pages...

projections from any surface of the vehicle, bumpers out of place and doors, hood or trunk lids that
