When? and why do you have to pull the engine? Wouldn't it be easier to pull the trans?

When? and why do you have to pull the engine? Wouldn't it be easier to pull the trans?

I want to make the driveshaft this week so maybe next week but that's the trail cleanup in Taunton. I want to take a day off work so I can do it without my dad worrying. I'll do it on a saturday and call out sick on sunday if I need it to finish.

I'm not sure I'll be able to help this weekend or the next. Time is tight for me since this semester is ending and i have 2 sizeable projects that I need to get done, not to mention find time to work on my own junk.

It's doable and i'm sure I can handle it on my own but I want it done fast and at the very least someone else is in the shop so if something bad happens i'm not pinned under an engine waiting to die.
