I went to look at it.

It wasn't a TOTAL mess, but will need some work.

I remember a gaping hole in the driver's side floorpan that will need attention, as well as the rear wheel wells.

The guy didn't have the keys when I showed up (said his son had them, called me ahead of time and told me but I still wanted to see the body), and he also lied about the floors in the ad saying they're 100% rust free. Made me skeptical of how well it would have ran.

I'd probably steer clear, he also wouldn't go below $1000.

Thanks Colin. Maybe I'll give that guy a call with the 86 comanche, with the 4 cylinder, that doesn't drive, and see how much a "reasonable offer" is in his eyes, because $2,600 sure hell isn't. I think I might say that exact thing to him.

I have been kickin around that site too. May end up ordering from there if I find something cheaper than I can get locally.

no prob. i think a friend of mine has those exact gloves. i wore them for a few hundred miles. not too shabby.
