Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Oh I have them for 17's front and rear. I'm just going to put them on CL tomorrow and see what I get for them.
Edit: I had this-

I don't have to buy a 727.

Find me a free NP435 out of a dodge. It would bolt right up.

dibs on your 435/d20, though i dunno when I could pay you.:eeks1:

Did you buy tires already or are you going to be buying some? I have a set of brand new tires I need to sell because I just sold my bike yesterday.

what kinda tires? and what would you want for them? my friend might want them for his excel wheels for his xr650l, potentially...

You better not have sold it for a super awesome low price... if you did I would have considered buying it :D

Edit: So far I have been rockin' it old school style with (at least) 20 year old bikes. my pride and joy is:

though I think I posted that before, though that pic clearly shows some shitty ass tires  apparently my new tires come within a 1/2 inch of hitting the front fender but do fit. I really hope that there was no variation between bikes during manufacturing.. if the front tire doesn't fit I will be pissed. Right now I plan on getting the tires installed and dropping the forks 1-1.5" up front to adjust and quicken the steering a bit. will probably stay stock at first then go to 1" drop then 1.5" and adjust from there. May also try to find some Vmax rear springs to swap in since they add 1" ride height out back and allow for more adjust-ability, both of which should improve performance.

They're Metzler Sportec M3's. Fronts are 120/70zr17 and rears are 180/55zr17. They're $417 brand new, but I get a discount at a MC shop in Windham so I paid $327 I think. I just want to get back what I paid for them.

I did. With 11,809mi sold it for $3300

Damn, I def would have taken it for a ride and possibly bought it at that price.

Hopefully next wkend I will be taking the ST350 out. I think that a ride will help me decide whether or not I want to sell/trade it.

Right now I am torn between keeping it and sell/trade-ing it and using the $$ earned to buy an older Vmax. part of me loves riding offroad too much... idk...

Fixed it.

yeah, uh, no you didn't fix anything. I can tell you don't ride.

I have considered selling the bike(s) for Jeep parts but frankly I would never do that. I would sell my DD car for the XJ but not my bike.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Happy Easterrrrrrrr. Everyone busy doing Easter Egg hunts?

It's ok, I beat ya to it, I already don't wheel. .!.:D.!. That line will work as soon as my steering and brakes are fixed though.

Travis, did you take a dump in the master cylinder reservoir before you gave it to me?

Damn that thing is dirty...

:D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Parts from the red Jeep for the win.

Just got the booster into the firewall to notice that the pin on the brake lever is too high. I was going to have to redrill it, when I decided to check the brake lever from the red jeep to find out that it is in the perfect place.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I got scratch tickets and won $10.

Carmelo, keep feeding me information.

What more do you need?
-ECM, Harness, Map sensor, ECT thingy, CTS from a 88-91 chevy
-Omit lame sensors
-Run HEI, an MSD, or buy/make a tach filter
-Holley TB or stock 454 tb(with bigger injectors probably) The throttle bodies remained the same so you're not limited to the 88-91 years so it makes it a little easier to find a throttle body.
-As far as programming a chip goes get a programmable eeprom for the computer and program it yourself. From what I hear having one burnt never gives you you're full potential. Having one burnt would probably set you back $150 and you'd be done with it though, less hassle.
