Don't use air. Go slow. Remember, an impact gun doesn't do anything your hands cant with leverage. You shouldn't even need much leverage though.

i've never seen anyone take one off w/o air. put it back on with a breaker bar though.

Wow, I just started a build thread (on UJ). Wtf, the world must be coming to an end shortly.

Pano's curly fries and RB sandwich= awesomely awesomeness.

Regarding my post earlier about sammiches. I got a sub from the local shop to me that I think makes one of the best subs around (panos was amazing, but I still like this place for all other sammiches). I got a steak bomb with cheese whiz cheese and buffalo sauce (steak bomb = steak and cheese with mushrooms peppers and onions). The kid serving it had an "omg, I just had a revelation" look on his face and could only say "that looks like one good sandwich". It was epic, esp since i never had it from this shop with the cheese whiz. That was the perfect touch. Had it with onion rings. Perfect lunch

if it was a street rig id say go for it but a wheelin rig i wouldnt, alot of money invested into a motor that will get destroyed

The reason I say don't use air is more because most pullers are cheap and brake and you simply don't need air tools to tighten it.

If I keep it stock it's 90% free.

I'd just have to buy gaskets really, and possibly rebuild a 727.

sio ive decided im gettin the 95 running again real soon, like maybee within the next 2 weeks, im tossin the trans from the 93 in, not gonna bother with seals till i know the motor is still healthy

this front bumper install should be fun, i have a feeling all the bolts are going to snap off.. what would be the best way to fix that? is there a welded nut inside the frame rail? was thinking about hammering them out, cutting a very small pocket in the "frame" and putting a wrench up there with a nut on the end of it, then closing the pocket back up..

good idea or no?

and the pitman arm is all good btw

So I am sitting around with a couple drinks and I realized I really don't want to go see the family tomorrow for easter. I don't mind seeing the family, but it's not something I want to do on a religious day. They are all religious and shit on religious days. Not to mention I have to be up and on the road by 11. Not a problem most of the time but I wanted to go for a nice motorcycle ride in the AM. Gotta wake up earlier I guess. I was looking forward to riding the bike to the easter party or whatever it is but I decided that since my front tire is dry I should avoid highway speeds until I get new tires next wk, so car it is.

whats needed to get 95 XJ running, install driveplate, put in trans from 93, bolt all up, hook up a couple wires, run exhaust from blue jeep, add some gas to tank add batery, hope it starts

If I had those parts available at those prices I would have a 440 in my XJ... Or I would buy an MJ to put said parts in.... Just saying.

I had most of mine snap off including the ones inside the frame rail. The front 2 can just be cut off (I just cut my bumper off and then used an angle grinder on the front bolts). The ones in the rails I drilled out and welded a nut inside the rail. I put the bolt through the hole and threaded a nut onto it inside the rail. Then welded the new nut onto the old nut that was already in there. Then took the bolt out, put bumper in place, and put bolt back in.
