I've only sold one thing on CL and I won't do it again. Way to many sketchy people out there. I'm glad I at least only used a junk email account.

I rarely sell stuff on CL, I tend to use it more to give my stuff away that I just want gone, and buy other stuff. Until I got the contact info for the scrapper I always use now, I used it to list a lot of scrap metal. Now I just give him a call and an estimate of how many pounds of random metal junk I've got this time and set up a pickup time.

I really like the email anonymizer feature, if someone looks sketchy I just delete their email and they have no way of getting my real address.

I love how fast people start calling you when you post something on CL. I already had a call an hour after putting my bike up.

Pssshhh that's nothing, it's not even for sale and people are trying to buy my Honcho. Even when it looks like this.

Everyday I see someone post a want ad for some rare FSJ peice of whatever that could be found in here if I felt like looking.

I have now effectively made this thread into the HONCHO THREAD by proving it's superior awesomeness.

I wonder if anyone needs drop brackets and adjustable lowers/uppers?

How much? I could use uppers/lowers though idk if I need the drop brackets with only 3.5-4.5" lift. Though I guess it wouldn't hurt to run drop brackets (other than the whole clearance thing).

That's what I am doing for a trail spare. Either that or use the ZJ front shaft to get me to the trail and swap it out if I will be wheeling hard. Probably be lazy and just keep a square shaft for the spare though.

Awesome. I would still love one of those but can't get one until either I can afford 2 "toys" or I get a job that isn't 35 mile and 45 min away from where I live. Chances are I won't be getting one... :laugh3:

Sell your gay XJ(all XJs are gay). FSJs are bigger, better, more powerful, stronger drivetrain, cheaper to mod, easier to work on, more space for cool engines, full framed, more original, better looking and all around a better jeep.

You seem like an old cherokee kinda guy. I say 2 door.

Believe me, I have already been tempted to sell the XJ several times but can't bring myself to do it. I have enough time/money into it and do like it for what it is. If I do kill the XJ at some point I might end up parting it out and going FSJ but I don't know for sure yet. I like my XJ :thumbup:

I spent quite some time looking for an old Willys wagon and/or truck. Found a few, almost bought one. I would love to build one of those but feel like I would hate beating on it. I have also looked at my fair share of grand wagoneers and such. I would probably own one right now if I had my own house (or someplace to keep it) but I don't have either of those (well I would have somewhere to keep it but That would mean I would have to sell my XJ and I just dropped relatively large sums of cash money into the axles so that's not happening until I wheel the sh*t outta my current Jeep)

Nope, probably guaranteeing is something you clearly don't understand.

Oh and I'm giving him a trans-tcase adapter that's already drilled to clock an NP231 flat. He can't get a flat belly without clocking his NP231 and with this he won't have to do any work.

I have no use for it since I won't be using an AW4.

I should have one package in today (I hope), my front bumper brackets that I ordered a while back. just gotta trim those down to fit my bumper and get them installed then I am winch-read :thumbup:

I am still waiting on one of the damn Amazon packages I ordered on 3/8/10. :smsoap: It was never shipped so I called amazon and was told it was out of stock (called around 3/20 I would guess). Then I got an email later that week essentially saying the ETA was first week of april. Then I got an email 3 days ago saying that the ETA of april was wrong. Then I got an email this morning saying that the ETA is 2nd wk of april. Wtf.

The only issues are trying to make sure you affix the tube to the yoke correctly. I've seen them fail.

I got a package from one of those places very recently too after waiting a long time. To bad the parts inside were all FUBAR'd. Since I don't and never will own a VW, care to guess? (You already know).
