First tax return came in today. Woo $102 from MA! 3 more to go, supposedly the other 3 should all be bigger too.

Edit: And motorcycle decal came in today, double woo!

And should be getting my bumper brackets tomorrow or shortly after. I was too lazy to make myself so I ordered, should be nice :D

And I told my mother her 'easter holiday thing' was interfering with my working on the Jeep this wkend.. She didn't look very happy :laugh:

she's a bitch and would blame me for letting the sump pump clog despite the fact that my mess was all cleaned up. she might have to hear about it though. the water softening salt got drenched as well as the well pump. (shallow well...)

the tag is already cut. :dunno:

Then unplug it, go hit the breaker, and plug it back in. Then re-attach the tag as best as possible

you wont be getting the power company out for a long time tonight, and if you have any oil in the water, you dont want anyone coming out and seeing it anyways, it could get very expensive quick.

i put 5 gal buckets on each foot and flipped the main breaker. then i turned everything off except the sump pump and turned that back on and shuffled stuff around. it's 2" below where it was already... but i don't have heat or water right now.

Apparently I now have command for the town of lisbon, off to monitor the water on the roads, already threw a cone at someone who couldnt read the road closed barricades a couple of hours ago

Anthony, just tell her the power went out if she asks why everything got wet. That's what I'd do if I wanted to avoid discussing the whole issue.

This is the kind of information I do not need to do well in life.

In fact I think I may have been better off without it...

I still can't believe how perfect the mj tail lights I picked up are, only one little bit of plastic broken off. They're going on the second it stops raining :guitar:

GHEYYYY!

I found out today that this band I know was going to be playing at the Paradise rock club on 4/29. I was like sweet, the kid I drive to work is a big music person and we were going to go to the show.

Paradise's page brings me to their Myspace page, which lists the show as sold out, ticketmaster has no tickets, and stubhub says they have 8, but they start at $100.

Scratch that, they are going for $230 per ticket on this one place. General admission for the club was $15. WTF.

and youre complaining why? i dropped just over $400 so i could take my dad to ac/dc. if you really wanna see a band, you gotta drop coin

That is AC/DC, and didn't they play at Gillette?

This is a relatively small band in a small ass club.

I got excited to see the show, but I'd rather spend the $230 on something better.

yeah, thats true.




but it was sooooo worth the money. them and led zepplin were hands down the best concerts ive been too, they probably always will be too....
