THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Colin, you stalled out my XJ in record time! Not enough powaah compared to your truck...in all honesty, not that I would know anything about it, but have you wheeled a stick XJ before? You seem to be more than happy with (and I don't blame you) AW4's so why change a good thing? You never know...maybe you'd love it, but maybe you'd hate it. Go lightly wheel someone elses and see what you think.

MY NAME IS CARMELO AND I KNOW EVERYTHING BECAUSE MY FIRE CROTCH HIDES BURRITOS UNDER MY ELEPHANT NUTS AND THEY TELL ME THE ANSWERS FROM MISS CLEO.

First off, I bet you cant guess what color the hair on my balls actually are. Second, Colin has driven my Comanche and was more than satisfied with it's level of awesomeness.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

How much you looking to spend?

Sub $1500. Would like the floors/frame to be intact. Couldn't care less about the rockers.

run an Iron Duke with an AX-4

I honestly wouldn't even have a problem with that if the body was mint.

Yeah I'm no expert driving stick, but every vehicle has a different spot on the clutch pedal that it starts to engage. Once I get used to that I'm ok at it. Carmelo's was a bit easier to drive than yours for some reason. But definitely going from my truck to your XJ was a big difference.

That's the whole point, I'd like to try it. We'll see what happens. If I come across a sweet deal on a comanche with an AW4 then I'll wheel it, doesn't matter to me.

I could take a good guess but then that just gets gay.

I don't imagine he wheeled your MJ, especially because it was up until recently 2wd.

Colin I'll keep my eyes out as I've somehow managed to recommend 3 to guys recently that they bought and are happy with. Ask Ross to keep his eyes out on Helping Hands as they've had 2 of them in the past few months for short short money.

The four cylinders in XJ/MJs weren't actually the iron duke were they?

nope

Hmmm, you're willing to spend more than my buddy. I could sell you mine if you are just looking for a shell :eyes: Though I have to talk the other guy out of buying it first.,,

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

AMC basically copied the Iron duke when they started using them in everything after the CJ died. i want to say same bore but a slightly different stroke and also used the TBI

I figured they were similar but didn't think they were the same engine. Last time you mentioned having one in a XJ or MJ I was drunk and figured I was probably mistaken.:gee:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

no kidding. Looks beautiful, at least from 20-30 feet.

Mine has a 50 foot in the dark paint job right now :roflmao:

Only 20MPG though? If I drive my comanche reasonable I can get that. I'm not a big fan of driving a truck with an undersized engine.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Plus that price sucks. I got mine for $1250 and is looks more than good enough. Has rust but nowhere on the body or frame. No rot and the paint job is entirely rattle canned in duplicolor I can get at any auto parts store.
