Looks into the total cost of building a 300, I think you'll be pretty close some other type of case.haha exactly... but I'd feel less bad about slowly building a 300(or a 231/300 doubler) than a 231
I never left 2wd yesterday, of course we got a total of about 2". I seriously think the towns put more salt on the road than mother nature put snow.

I thought that too, but some people are doing it on the cheap (making their own clocking rings/adapters, skipping the 4:1 for a while, etc).
Though I don't think it's worth it if you're leaving the 27-spline outputs on it? I think Chris ran that for a while though so I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.

Scratch that, they're 4.75. They already rub my LCA's but I dont mind. It's just the rear I'm worried about. And it looks stupid having the rear wider than the front.

Also, having the rear narrower than the front isn't that bad. I don't even notice it on Adam's unless I'm really looking for it.

I just got off the phone with Dirk @ DPG and got a new CSF coming.:thumbup:
Even with the spacers I highly doubt you'd notice that 1/4" wider stance per side in the rear.

I do have a couple things I should be doing tonight so I probably should just go home.
-respool winch cable
-turn trailer around and load up jeep
-pack tools
-check fluids etc in jeep (and t-case fluid in truck...leaks a little)
Just stupid stuff but it does take up some time. Supposed to go out with Kate and her friends tomorrow night so I won't have much time.
