Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i would if mine was driveable

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If my rear axle wasn't sloppy I would be out driving right now... I can't wait to get it done :rof: I have been saying that too long... just gotta wait for baystate to have time to work on my junk :D

Oh yeah, your rig is likely less drivable than mine... that's hard to do.

Well maybe some day if you need a hand with something I can take a drive down. As long as I have 1 day notice so I can bring a change of clothes to work I can stop by whenever.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i'm doing a double axle swap tomorrow :gee: but i don't know when else. i may or may not be working on stuff in a weekend or 2. now that the transmission is done, i can justify starting on fabrication :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Oh, Adam I forgot to tell you, on Sunday I finished tightening up the spindle bolts, and had put the hub back and went to put the spindle nut on when I noticed the seals that are supposed to go on the axle shaft behind the spindle were sitting on that little red roller cart. I had to undo all your helpful work, and pull the spindle off again.

I forgot to tell you about those, my bad.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

let me know if you need a hand any time; esp weekends. usually I am free.

Granted if I have an MJ sitting at my buddies house I may have something to spend my time on. But I can still offer a day or 2 of help here and there esp if this D30 stuff involves the D30 shafts I will be needing

I need to go wheeling. I haven't been "real" wheeling in ages, then again maybe I have never been real wheeling at all, idk. But all I can say is that I am looking forward to riding shotty this wkend. :D

The only downside about all this is htat lately I have been dropping plenty of money on Jeep(s) lately... I am looking at a house next week. My spending $$ may be decreased soon :(

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

of 96.5-99.5 shafts and you'll get 760s, .

FALSE, you get 29 joints, wich you can replace with 760's, also you can use any 1995-2006 d30 shaft, there all the same, also any 91-94 that has abs and/or the 242 tcase has the one piece 297 shaft

doh, sorry for the bad info. I read somewhere or other while searching that the shafts fit 297s/760s mid-96 and later and my 96 does, so I figured it was right and just completely got the U-joint wrong.

still working... but at least I'm working from home, and drinking beer

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i just took my jeep for some good donuts in the snow, but i want another few inches to really enjoy it. there's only like a half inch of snow in boston, wtf!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I think I'm gonna take a break and go do some donuts actually... hmmm. Home depot parking lot it is!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Y'all make me sad :( I now have an axle with a locker and can't use it.

Hopefully we will have at least one more good snow after I get the front regeared and the rear rebuilt. If not... bring on next year

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

you don't NEEEED a locker to go enjoy the snow. sure.. it helps making kicking the ass end out way easier, but the solution to that is always more skinny pedal!!

now if only there were more empty parking lots in Boston
