between now adn this time next week, im gunna go over to wt tool and get the phase convertor:greensmok ive put it off long enough, i might even pick up some end mills they have on sale in the flyer i just got.

they had some ball end mills in the flyer too which spark my interest since im at the point now where i wanna get the actual coil bucket figured out. i have the base plate figured out and how the lca mount will tie in with it and be boxed up for extra coolness

ball end mills are useful for creating compound surfaces on a CNC machine. and they're big bucks. i highly doubt that you'll NEEEEEEDDDDD a ball end mill. if you need to create a curve i know you'll probably just hit it with a grinder. but having one 1/2" or 3/4" may not hurt.


kyle, if you ever read this, i haven't forgotten. i still have your old reverse idler i'm willing to trade for the end mills

that's about 120 more than they're paying at the JY :dunno: It's going into a hovercraft we're theoretically building so the only requirements are how much boost and air volume, it can be any shape/size etc.

EDIT: I just realized why this pair of jeans has been getting almost fashionable. It's because it's the pair I spent about 20 hours grinding and welding in back around christmas :roflmao: they've got the whole "faded patches along the fronts of the legs" thing going on.

use one of these to make your angled surface relative to your other stuff. you'll only need a ball end mill for finishing a compound curved surface or making a hemispherical groove...

as for the CTD... that's not bad. but WTF is a 47RE tranny? i'm pretty sure RE doesn't stand for rubicon express, but that could just be the beer talking.

as for the tires, i was eyeing those too... no $ right now.

We have absolutely no snow here in SE MA... actually just looked and I can see some white on the woodchips and sand... that's it.

So Question for the pro's.... Towing an MJ with a tow dolly... Pull the rear driveshaft and I would go good to go? Yes or no?

Edit: Hmmmm, just remembered that the MJ is welded in rear I think.. Fawk!

I don't know too much about the designations (Chrysler) but I believe each # or letter stands for something

4 = number of forward gears
7 = some kind of input torque rating I think...
R = no clue...I forget
E = Electronically controlled (H would be hydraulically controlled)

Again, I could be pulling this out of my ***.

The 47RH was replaced by the 47RE. (The 4 was the number of gears, including an overdrive; the capacity rating of 7; R for rear wheel drive; and H for hydraulic control, or E for electronic control, though the substitution of “E” for “H” was more of a coding change than an engineering change).
