What do you have to do? I can't even use our garage so my work are is on the trailer lol.

I worked through the snow on Saturday and all day Sunday (both times into the night) in order to get my bumper mounted, winch mounted and wired in, and solenoid box remote mounted, as well as get the radiator fixed.

Just put multiple layers on

It's less that I need more space to work and more I need more time. I like do work in short bursts and spread stuff out. Focusing on one small thing for a full wkend drains me sometimes and I start to ADD. So going out for an hour after work to relax and make a bump stop would be great for me... can't do that now. Which is why I want the summer.

But I gotta:

• Get the D30 regeared or find an axle for sale (the easy/expensive part).
• Maybe truss the D30 and/or diff cover so I don't frag my 4.88s
• Probably SYE
• bump stops
• finish interior work so I can pass inspection (doesn't need too much, just need to tap out the seat belts from weld spatter :doh
• replace seat passenger seat belt that got melty from fires caused by mouse nests while welding :doh:
• fix passenger side rocker
• more trimming

and I am sure I will come across a whole lot more as time goes on. Really most of that shouldn't take long at all.. My other problem is that I have to find places to keep material. Picking up a bunch of steel can be a PITA when I don't have a convenient place to keep it.. or a convenient vehicle to pick it up in.

yeah, i feel the same scott. i've been trying to tinker with the transmission but i keep ending up doing something else. probably why it's taken me 3 months. all i have to do is press 2 seals in and bolt it back together. but i'm really taking forever to do it.

Alot of my issue for now is that I need to get the rear axle rebuilt and front axle regeared before I can even drive it at all... so the Jeep has just been sitting.

Every time I TRY to do some work on it I get asked to move somewhere else so someone can get a car out or play basketball on the driveway or something (which involves driving the Jeep around/down the driveway or whatever). The problem being that I hate moving the Jeep with so much slop in the rear pinion. I feel like I something may bind up at any time and end up costing me another $400 in parts/labor to fix... so most of the time I just let the Jeep hang out down on the street where it's parked and figure I will get to work once the gears are done and I feel safe moving it.

It took me about 4 days to put on a new track bar, upper and lower CA's and new coils on mine just because it was cold and I had no motivation. Didnt help I was doing it myself and the control arm adjusters were frozen so I had to heat them up and take everything apart with a pipe wrench.

Yeah I remember seeing it like that on someone elses jeep and thought it was slick.

Controller reaches all the way to the driver's seat and beyond so plenty of slack there.

I want a winch! Now that I have a bumper that can hold one...

And I was just sitting at my desk sending out emails and got dizzy as hell. Something doesn't seem right :wierd:

Fawwwk. Ever since I had the sudden dizzyness I have been a bit light headed... now it has turned into light headed but more just tired. Aka I think whatever the hell happened is just wearing off. At least that's what I hope :laugh3:

The "fawk" is because I have to present a super mega PITA meeting that starts in 5 minutes. This could suck.. a lot.

it's not a list... they show up and when you click it in inserts it where the cursor is. if you want the full list you click "more" below the pictures... yes?

not only did i go out to the tent to say hi, but i decided to start it up. then we figured wed move the old truck cap in the tent, so i might as well just pull it out for a quick little drive down the street and a sweet poser pic next to my other rides
