THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Argh, Jeep needs to be done now (at least geared so I can go do some simple wheeling. idc if it's bump-stopped or anything) I need to go wheeling on my own private property. :moon:

Now I really hope there is something fun out there.. that and that the trees are not too dense to even get out there in the first place.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yah Mark, your ARB looks way cooler sitting in your basement!!! BOOOOMSHAKALAKA!!!!

I agree, it did look pretty cool sitting down there along with my mess of parts from my 2 door.

it diffenently looked the coolest leaving my basement in pieces

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

kyle, that's pretty sweet. where exactly is it?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

that specifically was in Bakersfield, CA. I put the western slope of the rockies as my top choice, followed by like Denver, NM, AZ and parts of west Texas. Not sure where I'd land but it would be a pretty similar situation

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

What is a Fleet-Pride?
it's a napa for big-rigs basically. the staff is usually very very helpful and nice. prices ain't bad either. they'll custom bend u-bolts for pretty much anything.

Just got word from the top that the gutter is closed. an official announcement is coming
took long enough. i know a bunch of people who wheeled it at 2 am hammered... i'm sure that contributed to it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

you're kiddiing.... WTF

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

can we get the idoit banned from here to?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

wow, if that's the reason for the closure, that's pretty shitty...

Thanks, Jason.

FYI the reason why Brushy is under a microscope right now is because F&W is
interested in putting a conservation restriction on it, and we're talking
seriously at this point about their desire to protect natural resources
there. Cowls will always own Brushy, and manage it for timber, but F&W will
just have bought our right to ever develop it. Nothing should change until
Dec 2010 or next year though... so just tread lightly in the mean time. :)
Thanks again for your quick response.

cinda-
my apoligies, our group was forved to turn around mid-trail due to the
extensive ice buildup and snow causing us to be unable to continue on the
trail without possibly causing damage to the area, we tried to avoid
damaging the area but some smaller brush was trampled. no chainsaws were
used, i believe the person who contacted you was under the impression that
the second trail we later went to was also on land owned by your company,
however it was not, the cutting that we did was at the second area we went
to in order to remove a downed tree, and was on privatly owned land. sorry
for the confusion and i again apoligize for going off the main trail. well
be staying out of brushy mountain until warmer weather when the ice melts
and we can enjoy the trails you generously allow access to. i hope there are
no hard feelings to come of this, as we greatly appreciate the access you
and your company allows, both in leverett and belchertown, and i hope you
will continue to allow us use of the land.
thank you for contacting me on the matter and i hope this is of some help

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

feel free to find the thread on massdriven about it all, long story short some newb who showed up tried to say he knew a bunch of b.s., contacted someone he knew at the lumber company and it ended up rolling from there, he ended up looking stupid in front of alot of people. only damage to the area was a bit of brush munched, and a scrape on a tree, nothing permanent. not like things used to be. ive spoken to the landowners at both places we were at on sunday and had/have permission for both places. not that any of you care but im trying to do things the right way for once...

Dude, you might want to learn some grammar for when you respond in a formal e-mail.

Maybe spell check as well.
