You *Don't* have the correct bolts. If you did, they wouldn't have been able to fit through your brake lines.I believe I have the "correct bolts".

This was one of my big problems getting the harmonic balancer off my brairwood, I had a metric bolt that threaded into the threads, but would pull out once I put any tension on it.that's what i was talking about mark... i'm glad you know what i meant.
i've had that work with metric threads before. but it is sketchy.
They didn't use metric banjo bolts on Jeeps/chevy in the '70s.Yeah I know what you meant, and I believe it's a metric banjo bolt. My parts guy looked it up in the computer and gave me that one, said it's the only one he's ever given out for GM calipers.
I didn't believe him, but it works. No leaks or anything.
