THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Travis - what tools should I bring other than windshield stuff? sawzall? wrenches? BFH? etc etc

no, should be fine... I'm kind of at a crossroads of sorts...Dad wants the Jeep gone and/or moved tomorrow (lol) Sooo I'm kind of thinking of pulling the drivetrain then rolling the shell around to wherever the hell he won't whine about it, then pull the axles. Also, I was just gonna sawzall the shell into pieces but apparently now he's all upset about how "shit will be everywhere" so I'm really not sure whats up with that. <-- that was just a drawn out way of saying you can bring the sawzall but i dunno if it'll get used  I've got a corded one regardless, so no biggie

lol the flares are 20 bucks

im going to give you the 20 to give to trav. and im going to give you back that cb speaker and drive shaft:yelclap:

leave the cb speaker with me, i ought to see billy this weekend

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i did my SYE in my apartment's living room last year. i know what you mean about working on stuff inside.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i got an alignment. only the DS front toe, PS rear and front camber were out. adjusted the DS fr toe and PS rear camber. can't adjust front camber without loosening and adjusting the subframe, so town fair "can't do that." it goes about 98% straight... i need to drive it for a few days. i want to say the steering wheel points a c-hair to the right and the whole thing pulls a c-hair left. so all in all, not bad for one day after...

Not too bad considering.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah, it's really not.... i think i'm going to get a new tie rod link thingy from the dealer and throw that in and bring it back for my check within 90 days. gonna get ahold of some new rims asap and just keep them inside for now, then when it starts to get nice out i'll swap rims/tires and keep the old ones as spares/junkers.

i need to adjust the camber somehow... i think i'm going to do the math on angles and junk and figure out how far the mounts need to move to get the camber even... ugh fck me

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I kinda want to chop the back off my XJ and weld a 97+ rear hatch on to close it off.
Don't. For the love of [insert your favorite thing here] don't.
I'd never do it again.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That big of a PITA?
Not really unless you are picky like me and also want it water tight.
Just time consuming is all. It isn't really hard work if you pre-plan your cuts.
