THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i'm enterprising on my stupid fast metabolism as long as I can. I eat like shit at school, go out a good amount, drink, eat more shit... And I'm steady at 155.
Same, except 195... if I weighed 155 at my height I'd blow away.
I hate you both.

My sr year in college I was at about 225-230 depending when I weighed myself. For a few months I ate well (salads and stuff), went to the gym at least 3x per week, completely cut beer out of my diet (I still drank, just had whiskey and diet coke or gin and tonics, or other liquer+diet soda or juices).

I got down to like 210 and then stayed there for the rest of my time trying to lose more weight. I wanted to hit somewhere in the 190s range just to say I got below 200 again for the first time since probably high school (or earlier).

Then after a couple months of staying there I said f*** it, I wanted beer again. I am probably back down to the 230 range by now (now that the winter holidays have passed and such), but still. bleh. I have always had a horribly slow metabolism.

Edit: And my 38x3? fit now. Not tight, not loose... well lately some have started to be a bit loose again.. I guess that's a good thing.

I am not sure what to think of today...

morning: cold and dreary
noon: light snow

Now it's nice and sunny out.

I guess I'll just call it "new england weather"

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i'm 6'2 and i wear 32x34s. i need a belt. i'm really only about 160, 165 tops.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

34x34, I just make it easy and always buy the same brand.

I wish systems didn't take quite so long to boot with 32GB of RAM in them...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Nah, it's a test system at work... this is actually one of the smaller configs :looney:

"only" 4 quad-core hyperthreading enabled Itanium CPUs, 32GB of RAM, etc etc. Some of the large-mem configs we've tested go up into the terabytes per system range.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i'm remoting into a 16 node cluster each with 4 processors and 32GB ram per node too. some simulations just need more power than others. the current FEA model i'm running has a little more than 7 million degrees of freedom. my desktop isn't gonna crunch those numbers.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

my wee little college office is sporting two 21" 2.66 dual core imacs with 4gb ram 500gb hd.. vmware booting xp, vista, and 7; a dual core 2.4? 4gb ram, 250gb hd dell running 7, three user stations running dual core something, 2gb ram, 80gb hd, xp; and a dual G5 power mac with 2gb collecting dust. plus our servers in the closet idk what they are now they just got overhauled.

enough with the computer mumbo jumbo, please :badpc:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

hey... and i think i finally have my model generating the right results. it was behaving funny. i think it was because i mixed my units. i had the material properties and stuff in mKs and i built the geometry in mmKs. woopsies :gee:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i want to work on my jeep.

btw... does anyone need a sub/amp combo? i have one that i'll let go cheap.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

6'1" 205 I used to be 250 until i quit drinkin soda
Yeah, I should do that all together, but I drink only diet now so thats "better" or at least I tell myself it is

oh cry me a river.

running SSD HDs?
SSD HDs... :twak: They are just SSDs.

You can get SSDs or HDDs. I know what you mean when you say SSD HD, but that is wrong. (sorry, I work for an SSD manufacturer, I had to chime in)
