Oh, and anyone have a set of yj flares (rears)? I'm relocating my stock rear flares instead of using tj flares, and it's gonna look ultra stupid with tj flares on the front imo

just use your stock frt flares in the frt

I am about to cut and fold the fenders I said I would never cut

And I just put on the 33s I said I would never move up to.

And I haven't done anything fun since I was stock because it's been breaking left and right because of the lift I never intended to do...

I think I am cutting and folding this wkend too. :thumbup: As you saw (and commented on) last week I kinda have no other choice. hah. Except I think I may just be cutting most of them off and welding on a fresh piece of sheet metal over the bottom since I don't have all that much to fold up. :laugh:

Edit: And I just got pizza from J's flying pizza (in Bridgewater) and I don't think I am going back. The pizza is tastey but the crust (the bottom of the pizza, not the outer crust) is waaaay to soft. I cant pick up a slice unless I support it with my 2nd hand. I have another place with very similar tasting pizza (also good prices) that has a much more supportive crust :thumbup: Oh well, was worth a try.

Anthony - yeah, now that I think about it all that actually broke was my pass lca bracket. It was nearly all rust :shocked: didn't take much of a bump to bust it up.

Rob - dunno why I didn't think of that, looks like it'll work nicely :thumbup:

pulling the bushwackers off black jeep was the best mod done to it. AND i made money off them. the second best mod was what inspired the first, cut & folding the rear quarters.

I'm thinking about WJ LCA's. Are they longer than stock XJ LCA's?

Lowers are the same as stock XJ the uppers are a tad shorter.

IMO flareless looks like hell. I've never been a fan of it, but I do agree they get in the ay and are a PITA.

Yeah I read MADXJ's write up. But I think I might buy the set of RE Adj uppers and lowers in the FS section.

only if all the stock flare mounting holes are left. trimming just the enough the get rid of the holes, but still leaving the shape of the fender on a stock to stockish/slightly modded DD looks sweet

I had hoped I would have to cut the flares on my Honcho. I told myself I was absolutely going to chop them off. When I lifted the truck it was nowhere near needing them off. I still said I was going to chop them off. For whatever reason FSJ guys are in love with widetrack flares and shed a tear when someone chops them off. So it made me really want to chop them. I was actually talked out of it:dunno:

Yucky. I don't like the tire sticking out 4 inches either. But everyone has their ow opinions. But running full width's and flares is dumb too because they don't do anything.
